Humberto Pittamiglio was a famous Uruguayan alchemist. I don't want to give Wikipedia like information that the tourists guide would give you, so, I'm going for the fun facts.
He was rejected by the Masonic order because he was gay. (When he was alive there was a rule for that)
It's rumored that the nails used to nail Jesus to the cross are on some of the stairs. And that he had the Holy Grail for some time. Because no one suspects Uruguayans have things.
This hidden gem, is his "castle" in Montevideo. From the street is recognizable as a small place with the front of a boat and a headless statue. But when you get inside it's bigger, as it's hidden by high buildings.
There's one tower no one is allowed to get into. I tried.
There's a solar temple, if you get into the middle of it, it supposedly gives you power. I did and felt nothing, disappointed, maybe I should have spent more time there but they didn't allow me.
Last time I went, it was kept by the female masonic order. They also have courses on esoteric things and theater plays there.
I don't remember all the analysis of the symbolism I did for my architecture class.
I did, not capture, all the place.
Castillo Pittamiglio - Montevideo, Uruguay
Some weird drawings from Listening VI.
I might paint these later.
