I don’t know if Auston attends many weddings tbh, he seems pretty quiet every off season. He only hangs out with his family and his Arizona friends in the summer. I only remember seeing him at the Kadri wedding (like 2017-18?) and one pic of him at a wedding in the summer 2019 his friend posted and that’s it. That’s a low number considering how many friends he has in the league/hockey world

And that right there makes me wonder about Leafs culture yet again. Yes they all love and respect each other but they're quite silo'd from each other eh?

Almost getting a little emotional just thinking about it [Nylander accompanying him off practice ice when he was traded to Washington]

Willy is one of my best friends. ... I lived with him for one year and stayed with him the beginning of last season [2022-23] as well.

We chat every single day no matter where we play. ... [after the trade] We still talk every single day.

I think social media-wise he always wants to look cool; Instagram posts, everything's supposed to be a little flashy. That's Willy.

But he really cares, and if you're in his inner circle, being close to him, he's all about family, he's all about his friends. He does anything [for you].
