Sometimes you just gotta turn your characters into little dress up dolls and make some doodles out of them
Main Leaders!!
Art by: Saori5 ...I miss her so much 😔
Former leaders: Miguel, Olivia
Current Leader: Ukon
Evelyn "Evee" Monroe: 19 daughter of crime boss and pack leader Cameron Monroe. Despite coming from a line of Old Country werewolves, Evee never shifted when she came of age. The official sentiment is that a recessive gene caused the lack of wolf. Despite this, the pack still accepts her and respects her as the daughter of the pack boss. She enjoys reading, puzzle solving, midnight walks, and watching the sunrise.
Tony: 23 muscle in the crime family. Adopted in when he was bit at a young age Tony quickly rose in the pack as a defender both under the sun and moon during the war while Monroe wrangled both smaller packs and other crime syndicates under his family. He enjoys swimming, sitting on rooftops, and listening to stories.
Story is set in a 20s-30s Chicago inspired city where an ambitious werewolf pack has a strong foothold in the city's criminal underbelly and the clawing of new territory as the government cracks down on the selling and drinking of alcohol. Basically the beer wars but werewolves. But I'm not a historian and stuff, it's just inspired by the time period
thinkin about my boys, my protagonists, samwise gamgee and meriadoc brandybuck tonight…. my beloveds…. my heroes…
Happy STS!
Everyone, I mean everyone is in a karaoke bar. Is there an unexpected talent? Who has to be forced to the stage? Knock yourself out and give me the songs? :P
@catharticallysarcastic
HAPPY STS. HAHAHA. @catharticallysarcastic
For Max Drama, I'll choose these
Elijah (Astrea's love interest)
yes I want his voice to be this deep, and no, no one saw it coming in his singing voice.
(sings this to Williams face)
(sings this to Astrea)
Astrea
girl can get it
Elayna (Astrea's Sister)
Unsurprisingly she has RANGE. She's known for her singing.
William (Astrea's best friend)
would be too shy and nervous and coaxed on stage because he's not a great singer. He's the only one who can't sing lol. But everyone is surprised he nailed the chorus's beat and rhythm. (He practiced)
Also scared of Elijah teasing him if he sang anything romantic
Antor
Would literally have to be dragged on stage, but has surprising talent since he hums and sings a lot with his partners.
When he gets to the chorus everyone gets surprised at how into it, and good, he is.
Happy WBW! 😁
Do the cultures in your story have any kind of fairy tales? (I know they have a grand mythos for their gods, but I wondered if the kids in Pyria or Oracea had any fun little fables😊)
I DID MORE RESEARCH FOR THIS BECAUSE I LOVE RESEARCHING FOR MY WIP (AND FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE SO RECEPTIVE AND SUPPORTIVE AND I READ YOUR RESPONSES SO MANY TIMES ASJDJFKKS ❤️❤️❤️)
I based all of these on Greek Myths ~
Astrea
Basically, Pandora's Box. It's a story about a box gifted to women by the Gods, with instructions not to open the box. But soon after arriving, she opens the box and releases death, disease, prejudice, racism, and all the bad things Astrea hates about the world. The woman quickly shuts the box, after releasing all of the pain and suffering, only hope remains inside.
Astrea is drawn to this story because she wants to be the hope inside the box. Because she wants to be released from her four walls and show the world that she can spark a hope, and change the world.
William
Basically, the story of Icarus, a young inventor who got too ambitious and flew too close to the sun.
Will takes this story to heart throughout his life. He has never been ambitious. He's been too soft, so he can never fathom someone being so ambitious that it kills them.
Later on, when he struggles with the idea of using corrupt magic to save his friends, and discovers the notion of common magic, he recalls back to this fable to remind him not to be so ambitious. He uses it to remind himself of the person he has always been.
Elayna:
There's an Oracean Fairy Tale about two childhood friends who, when getting into their teen years, fell madly in love. Their parents were enemies, forbidding them. But they meet in secret and marry under a juneberry tree.
When A arrives, they see a bloodsoaked tiger, fresh from a kill, sleep under the juneberry tree. So A runs, leaving behind their scarf. B arrives, sees the tiger tear the scarf, assumes the worst, takes a dagger, and kills themself. A returns later, devatsed, and takes the dagger from B and kills themselves too.
Elayna adores the tragedy of that being the reason juneberry trees are red, forever being stained with the blood of the young lovers. She wishes she would one day find a love like that. Her obsession with tragic love stories like this might be one reason she is so receptive to Antor after she finds her mother's diaries.
