So, Bottle Rocket Astronaut is in the same key as Walkin' on the Sun and All Star. Maybe I'm getting better at knowing these things by ear because i did have the feeling that All Star would work well with Bottle Rocket Astronaut, it probably helped that they're also extremely close in bpm.

i spent 2025 very isolated and unmotivated more than ever in making anything, even silly little memes....

but- i did cook up this one mashup that i feel really sounds fun & reminded me that i have indeed improved in my production journey. i also really enjoy making the album covers & how i come up with my ideas.

anyway i hope that ye olde, young & inbetween emos enjoy this mashup i thought of while listening to folie á deux in a supermarket. i finally realised what the song sounded like to me. i used to see that music video everywhere!

and quite frankly, that bublè song is peak overblown horn pop music of its era. i think jason derulo's producers had a lightbulb moment hearing this one song because god THE TRUMPETS never end. i realised that specific element is either the best or worst when it comes to the late 00s-2010s.

unless it sounds as camp as sticker by nct, it's going down for real by flo rida or idk maybe thrift shop then i am gonna make it go down, for real *eternal 6 second vine loop of that one hook*

i am not the proudest of my work, but considering that i am entirely self taught and force myself to learn complex things on the most basic software, i might actually *lock in* this year. lord knows i have the time and resources!

anyway, that's enough paragraphs of things i wish i could have/hold a conversation about rn. hope this was a great #ad.
