I never ever see anyone mention this show and it's a shame! So here's a little about HOP, created by Marc Brown, beloved author of Arthur!

HOP is a calm and cozy show about a village of animals, many who have disabilities! It primarily centers on a group of friends. The frog Hop and his sister Penny, an owl named Hoot, a squirrel named Filipa and an alligator named Benny.

Hop has one leg that's shorter than the other and has to wear a special shoe. Filipa is autistic (her VA is too!) and Benny is very gentle and anxious and carries around an emotional support knight doll.

The show centers around themes of empathy, kindness, acceptance and understanding.

I know for a fact it has at least 2 seasons but it's been a second since I've watched it.

I drew a sketch of a hypothetical DW Read Bishoujo Statue and I liked it enough to expand the concept. Hopefully, every cartoon critic ever does not stumble upon this.
