Alright chat I have this batch of OC stuff prepped. Working on the others as well atm
The format I’m going with is “Dorm competition brings out negative traits, which are busted by the good nature of the RSA students” with some added flavor of how the OG villains were defeated in their movies…
The note I wrote for this one was:
“Octavinelle loses because Azul keeps trying to analyze, trick and sabotage his opponents. RSA team’s effective communication even under stress allows them to pull through and complete their goals. Azul attempts to steal the game for himself with some final trick, but it falls through and he gets thoroughly trampled by Rielle.”
Azul’s whole thing is obscuring his past and his mistakes as well as trying to learn people’s weaknesses to exploit them. Maybe rather than make for good teamwork, he forces his dormmate’s hands by using their secrets against them? Or by trying too hard to find a weakness in the enemy rather than playing against RSA’s strengths? Not sure.
How this loss would make Azul grow as a person… for Riddle it would be accepting strictness isn’t always the answer, that relaxing is OK, or that sometimes you have to make your own rules. For Azuuuul? Hm. I guess it’s that exploiting others isn’t always the answer… thing is tho he’s a hard core capitalist and that totally goes against his MO.
I guess for him the best option is that your past isn’t always shameful? Or that being judged by others shouldn’t change how you see yourself. He needs a self love arc baddddd. King is so insecure it’s not good.
So maybe that’s how Rielle would be the foil? He’s confident, but not because he’s always the coolest (he is unfairly cool) but he owns up to mistakes and accepts his cringe and thrives anyways. Cringe and free VS Cringe and depressed…
