a mandatory textbook for a course was only available in print and sold out from the university library so i ordered it from amazon a while ago and it arrived today (3pm) and my exam is tomorrow (12pm) <3 <3 <3

so the prof i TA for had to fly back to italy this afternoon bc her mother needed emergency heart surgery, leaving the 3 TAs to figure out quizzes and lessons and such (which is fine, she emailed us super clear instructions and it’s simple enough), but now one TA just messaged the rest of us bc she also had to go back home bc her bf is ALSO in the ER and needing emergency surgery

so it’s on me and one other TA to figure everything out, and like??? i’m not currently having a family crisis, but i am hella depressed and completely unequipped to deal with this emotional distress - the actual teaching and grading and shit?? easy peasy. but somehow the emotional fallout of things not even related to me??? while im already depressed??? hmmmm
