Lina is one of the very few people who Phainon shows his true feelings to. And sometimes he can't fully express how much he appreciates being able to let down his mask around her and just reveal how fragile his heart and soul truly are.

On a more NSFW note: When the pressure and the weight on his shoulders becomes too much he pulls out the collar and leash and wordlessly offers both to Lina.

A chance for him to let go, to stop thinking altogether and put himself entirely into someone else's hands... It's so important to him and sometimes, it's the only way to put him back together. He needs it to unwind, to let go, to relax, give him enough strength to face yet another day, to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders once more.

EDIT: I think @neongalaxyfae and I can agree that these two meeting and seeing each other's stands would be amusing. A sinnamon roll (Viola) that can manipulate non-living matter and change it into something else and a chaotic goof that can shape shift as a result of stand manipulation (Farfalle)
