tho also rereading the part where Ragazzo sacrificed everything for Ferdinand and the moment he sees Ferdinand again, despite being beaten up completely, he smiles so brightly, but then Ferdinand stabs him and cuts his hands off while praising him for being a good kid while Ragazzo (who loved Ferdinand so much because he was an adoptive father to him who got him out of an extremely abusive family situation, without knowing Ferdinand provoked this situation to start with), and Ragazzo just does this abused kid thing of recoiling and wondering why, what did he do wrong, ect and this bullshit

....

is making me think also about how Belial sacrificed everything for Lucilius only to be kicked where he's been stabbed by Lucilius when Lucilius came back to life.

Ragazzo is in a much more fucked up situation there ngl, because of how much Ferdinand manipulated him to reach that point

but it still boils down to "unconditional devotion for their one and only, being rewarded with intense act of violence"

not to mention both Ragazzo and Belial then get left for dead by their masters in order to distract the crew.

My point is that, since i know for a fact we'll get Ragazzo in our party one day (this is non negotiable), and he himself will need to go through his own healing/recovering arc regarding Ferdinand and stuff

but down the line this could be handy for the Belial domestication process. If Belial could see himself in Sariel's despair over his purpose and it made him protective of him, and if Belial could resent Sandalphon for being as desperately devoted to someone he wants the attention of only for Sandalphon to be loved back and him not.... I feel like there could be an opportunity of Belial seeing exactly the type of devotion and the exact reward he always got in Ragazzo and it could help on the domestication process.

(i'm not making everything about Belial i swear, i cried during those scenes for Ragazzo and i've wanted Ragazzo back for years now, just now i'm putting everything together bc of hte newest lore of the blog. You get me).
