i had a dream about a cruise ship with infinitely twisting passageways and secrets and also at the same time i was also at high school (no, literally in high school aboard the ship). Somehow i manage to gain employment on the ship and abused this power to greatly inconvenience my middle school crush by pressing a button that emitted a loud incorrect buzzer noise every time he tried to disembark, prompting a search of the ship by the authorities each time.

in one of these secret passageways there was a room with a bunch of tanks that were very blurry. i was told the one on the left was a colossal squid so on impulse i told it "you're beautiful" and it rose out of the water and it had these terrifying eyes but as it rose further and further you saw the expression it was making was :3 and it thanked me for the compliment and i woke up

The time I won the math squid 🦑

My math teacher I’m high school had a stuffed squid that we would turn in our assignments to each class. One day early in the year we found out that there is a new stuffed animal every year and that at the end of the year we could fight for it.

The entire year everyone is talking about what they are willing to do to get the squid. Why they would give the teacher, what they would do to the student that escaped with it, etc.

My end of the year finally comes and I, a person who shows up to school everyday half an hour early, am the first person to walk into the classroom and claim the squid. At break the word spreads the squid has been claimed. At lunch there are people hunting the school for the squid.

They are questioning people they know take math with said teacher. One person finally asks if I have the squid and I do not lie. I have it.

Multiple people offered to buy the squid from me. All were turned down. Multiple people threatened to fight me when I took them up on their offers they backed down.

One kid specifically said he was “afraid I would hit him with my car.”

This is the story about how I ended up with the math squid. He was red and I miss him now that I’m at college.
