UPP 4.4 Spoilers and Thoughts (and prayers)
I was pretty skeptical when people theorised William would die this episode. I mean, I thought one of the others, sure, but not William. I also was certain there'd be another season because there is so much left of these characters and you can tell Bizly LOVES dming this series, and I think I was right there with the way it ended. That being.. like no resolution at all.
Personally I don't think William is GOING to die until he goes through some kind of character arc (or at least I hope so) because.. really he's not changed at all since 1.1 like the others have. I don't even know if he's noticed that.
The other three have lost family members, been severely injured psychologically and physically, and put themselves in difficult positions countless times over, and many times that's been because of William's decision. (Particularly Norah)
I mean Will saying "god, it's me every time. Okay." I assume is just him not thinking things through, because Isaac's face? "I mean, sometimes it's not." Lui saying "Who's the most unscathed?" They've all seemed to notice except him, even if Norah was quiet about it.
My theory is he'll die after some kind of guilt hits him. Whether one of the others die first, or come close to, or their lives are threatened and he makes a sacrifice? But that guilt really needs to hit him first, because I think he's coming off as a little insensitive even if he still worries for them in the moment.
I would LOVE a scene where Isaac or Lui confronted him. It'll probably come up in a heated moment eventually.
Also really loved the moment between Isaac and Norah. I think I struggled to see their friendship with how distinctly different they are but ahh
"If it's you, then it's me too." Awhhhh I hope we get more of themm
Also so many Norah and William moments aah but that's for another day
