First run back
Training re-do Week 1, Day 1 (February 1, 2013) | Countdown to the race: 29 days
After two weeks off from running, my knees finally felt normal enough for me to resume my 5k training. In an attempt to not overdo it and slowly easy my way back in to training, I started at Week 1, Day 1 on my program. This run went very well and at the end, I made sure to stretch afterwards and ice my knees. Just for good measure, I took some ibuprofen and a warm bath in Epsom salts.
Let's hope this is the end of my training issues, but it is very clear, I won't be finished with the running program in time for my 5k.
