I pride myself on being the best I can be, not on being perfect. But at times, I think me trying to the best I can be, is almost like I'm trying to be perfect.

Something I realized after 11 years.

I remember when 2 fast 2 furious first came out in 2003, life seemed so simple back then, maybe just me, where my life was at the time. I was still in elementary school, no worries, no financial responsibilities, no planning for the future, gas was cheaper etc. I watch this movie today and I realize that 11 years, almost 12 years have passed since I first watched it. Life has changed in so many ways, for all of us. I'm in college now trying to figure out where I want to live, hoping to get this piece of paper that says I can work smh. You never realize how time changes things until you set aside some time to reflect on everything that isn't the same anymore. I guess what I'm trying to get at is that life happens, and keeps moving forward regardless of the situation. And if you encounter a situation in life that isn't in your favor maybe more so in some cases than others, you just have to remember that life is going to continue to move forward, and that you won't always stay in this lowly place you've encountered. And That you just have to keep doing your best to move forward and stay strong no matter what situation occurs. It's easier said than done and It will always be that way. But with that in mind, it still needs to be done. So let's get it done.
