Day 7: Underrated Moment

 I don't know if I'd call this underrated really - I couldn't come up with a scene that DE fans haven't over-analyzed. Honestly this was just one of my favorite moments because it's beautiful how her trust for Damon has grown since S1. She feels she can't trust Stefan in this moment but with Damon -  there is no question. The best part of it all is that he even tells that she should have called her "boyfriend". Twice.

Day 6: Best Moment of Trust/Understanding

This whole episode. When Elena is completely falling apart - who does she go to for help, who does she trust, who does she know will understand? Damon.

Day 5: Best Look

These looks between them were so intimate and adorable. They were like two little kids shuffling around not sure of what to say or do. Damon was just shocked and Elena just wanted to lay it all out there. There she was staring back at Damon excited to see what he would say or do.....sigh.....like two little love birds.

Day 4: Best Moment with Hands

There really isn't much to say except watch this scene. Nothing feels wrong. It's perfect. They way she grabs his hand to her heart and touches his face. She fights for what she knows deep down is the truth. That it's real.

Day 3: Best Quote

"I love you, Damon. I love you." Do you know how much I was screaming in this moment. To finally here those words come out of Elena's mouth was almost too much to bare. Even Damon was awestruck. The conversation, the song, that it was the most real thing she's ever felt, and Damon's reaction made my heart explode.

Day 2: Best Fight

I originally was going to pick the very last episode - their very last fight from the slap on but then I realized that this scene might be a step slightly above the finale. It's my URL namesake after all  This is an important moment because in this episode Elena realizes through her recollections and this conversation that Damon isn't as selfish as she originally thought him out to be. And ultimately I think it's where Elena starts to realize that her choice in 3x23 may have been the wrong one. She might have said that Stefan was her best choice just prior....but she never had all of Damon's reasoning in her hands. And we know the rest of the season so..... yes you are that selfish Damon and it's one of the reasons why Elena loves you.

Day 1: Best Kiss

This kiss was just beautiful. It was perfect. Their first time together - the first time where both them reciprocated emotions. They were both in the moment, passions exploding - completely unaware of the "sire bond" which really didn't even matter. Because it was real. It was the most real thing they've ever felt.
