some men can get pregnant.

some men want to be pregnant.

some non-binary people can get pregnant.

some non-binary people want to be pregnant.

some intersex people can get pregnant.

some intersex people want to be pregnant.

advocacy for pregnant people does not and should not begin and end with cis women.

if someone can get pregnant, they should be able to have total and complete access and rights to the support and medical care (including abortion) that that entails, period.

people not understanding that masculinity and femininity are inherently sexist ideas….

masculinity and femininity as concepts are based around stereotypes associated with 'binary' genitalia is why i call them sexist....

when other trans people do this i just feel like they’ve got only one foot in the door to freedom…. you understand autonomy and expression and deviation on some level but you do not understand that gender is a prison on an inherent level and basing your happiness around it is not progressive….

so many trans people just do wind up being phobic when they talk about trans passing. Like you know that doesn’t matter right. You know passing is a bandaid fix to a sexist transphobic society right. and that it shouldn’t actually carry any weight whatsoever and passing is literally a matter of safety first and foremost and one we shouldn’t need to do because any form of gender-based judgement is sexist. because gender is a series of boxes used to medically discriminate against the wide spectrum of sexual and etc. physical traits we have (because it is essentially a form of ableism).

i understand using the terms masculinity and femininity in a relative sense, but in the long term those are not ideal. and are in fact actively regressive.

oh so those are your emotional support terms? it makes you feel good to pass? i honestly don’t care. of course you’re trained to feel happy when you conform to sexism. of course you found community by conforming. Lol.

good for you if you search yourself and are genuinely happy conforming, but a lot of the time, of course, your conformity is actually compulsive. and yes, of course, some people are genuinely happy conforming, but like omg. Shut the fuck up about putting that pressure on others.

the modern wave of bioessentialism and transmedicalism in the community is setting us back big time and i hate being forced to see it. we need total gender abolition nowwwwww.
