**Long Post** So since I came into this world, there has been this living-Human Angel that I’m sure GOD made just for me!! Although, she birthed 3 sons (including my dad) she has been my mom for my whole life. When my dad passed in 1993, I knew that I would never again feel love the way he made me feel it. I knew I would never have the chance to actually say that I have a DAD. Although, she isn’t a man and she isn’t my Dad, she has been more of a father and mother to me than ANYONE else in this world. She has put up with me for 33years. She has been my Bestfriend for 33years. She has been my grandparent, my parent(s), my guardian, my earthly savior, my fixer, my shelter, my rock, my comforter, my right mind, and my BIGGEST FAN AND SUPPORTER!! She’s never missed ONE single show that I’ve done, no matter how hard it is to get there. She took me and my brother, Brandon, in when my father (her youngest son) passed and my mother left. She did without hesitation. When I was sick and literally dying she was there every single day at the hospital and every single day after that. She is the youngest of 13 children and, heartbreakingly, the last living of those 13 children. She is the epitome of class, elegance, strength, power, courage, and wisdom. A TRUE virtuous woman. She was able to obtain 3 bachelors, 3 masters, Reading Specialist Certification, African American History Certification, Principals and Administrative Certifications, Several Teaching Certifications, A self-owned business, numerous properties, a few cars, raise 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, have 40 plus years as a church clerk/choir director, be a mentor, have 44 plus years as an educator, and a get a Doctorate of Education ALL BY HERSELF!! SHE IS MY HERO, MY ROLE MODEL, AND MY SUPERWOMAN!! THERE IS AND WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER: DR. DOLORES ROBERTA LEATHERBERRY DANIELS!!
