If you are a student and want to know how to cook, or you just started cooking and really want to be better. Maybe you have been at it for awhile and never got good. I suggest checking out Gordon Ramsay’s youtube channel. Years ago I started cooking for my family as my mom worked and didn’t have time. I learned what I could from my Grandmother, however I did not learn everything. I went to the master himself, Gordon. Actually I just watched his show on the Cooking Channel. Practicing every night to perfect many basic skills. I found myself getting better, more experimental and now its to the point my mother refuses to cook anymore. Her own skills dimmed as I polish mine, I honestly spoiled her and my siblings. (I even got the esteemed position of cooking for the holidays! A rare achievement in my family, only reserved to the Grandmother or mother of the house) He explained it in a way so simplistic I got it immediately. I learned many techniques and overtime learned how to do some of the more “complex” stuff. He doesn’t just do Beef Wellington or all expensive foods either. He does really simple stuff like Tomato soup to Curries.
If you want to know more youtubers, check out Binging With Babish, Life Of Boris (not a cooking channel, but he teaches people how to make many delicious Slavic folk dishes and drinks), Emmy In Japan (She does vintage recipes) Great Depression Cooking (She passed away in 2016! RIP) If you already know these youtubers, right on! If you don’t, check them out! I like shares on what other youtubers I might not know of.
