mynameismyth replied to your post “What is this saying that they're saying is been appropriated? I have...”
I don't think appropriation applies to shipping, but f/f pairs being to "porny" for tv is a bigger issue than a ship. Not that I'm faulting Ginny for, because it's not like she has any power over it. So maybe it's an over reaction on their part, but I see where they are coming from. I don't think they should use it to attack us cser, but maybe we should have a discussion instead of fighting.
No, we don’t need to have a discussion b/c that’s not what they’re mad about. They’re saying we can’t use the word “porn” in relation to Snow at all to make CS jokes or graphics b/c they have that ONE phrase. The person didn’t even use the same phrase -- her graphic said “I smell porn”, their phrase is “Snow says it’s porn” -- I’m sorry but this is so dumb. She already sent the creator of the graphic anon hate for it, which she didn’t deserve and then she made a rude condescending post to the entire CS fandom so we’re past conversations at this point. You’re right, the “too porny for TV” does speak to a larger problem but that’s not what we’re talking about here. They aren’t “oppressed” bc they ship SQ -- they chose to. Appropriation rules don’t apply to shipping fictional pairings on a tv show.

If they still have him in a swaddling blanket, I'm going to cry
He wasn’t last time we saw him. But if they don’t age him then he and baby!Robin will be about the same age.
If we get more of Robin than we get of Neal, I am going to flip. I think Emma’s freaking brother deserves to have a more active part in the story.

But it didn't work with Snowing? :D He'll have to find a way so she can fall in love with him again for the tlk to work :D
It did! But with Snowing shit are solved freaking quickly, meanwhile with Captain Swan it even takes time to see them having tacos. *shakes head* (It’s still true love tho)
@spartanguard replied to your post “Painful plot twist where Emma comes back from UW and the pain of her...”
As amazingly angsty as that would be, I feel like (well, hope) that Snow would intervene, having been there before.
Yeah, but it takes time anyway, since Snow’s memories were restored on the second Snowing’s kiss. It has to be HIS choice to kiss Emma in order to cancel the curse/potion, whatever. It’d be great to see Emma trying to win Killian’s heart, from the scratch. mynameismyth replied to your post “Painful plot twist where Emma comes back from UW and the pain of her...”
it's too early for this kind of angst!!
If I sink, you all sink with me in this sea full of angsty feelings. lenfaz replied to your post “Painful plot twist where Emma comes back from UW and the pain of her...”
Pearl!! anda al rincon en penitencia y pensa en todo lo mal que estas haciendo.... Pero... how about it's backwards... I mean Zeus can only send hook back as a reward but there are prices to pay. He's going back, but with no memories of anything. He lands in SB with no memory whatsoever. So it's upto Emma to make him remember....
Whoaaa, also THAAAT. Both ways are beautifully painful. The aaangst bc since he knew Emma (pre-oblivion), he brought the best version of himself so, if he has no memories of her, he’d be kinda dark, close off from (“new”) love and doing evil things. It’d give Emma a very hard time wooing that man because it has always been Killian the one who was wooing Emma in many ways (words of affection, flowers, onion rings or even following her anywhere/anytime). And now it’s Emma’s turn to win his heart. (”And I will win it”). I like both au’s, i’d read both!

Um but but.... I don't know how to feel about this
I know it’s bittersweet! :c Buuuut...there’s no ending!
mynameismyth replied to your post “Unpopular Opinion”
For Regina it was. And Lana was just giving her opinion. I think she was just stating that it's always been dark. But season 1 was way more hopeful )despite Regina being at her worst) than season 5. There is no way it is darker. Just my opinion.
I was about to say that I agreed that S1 had WAY more hope in it, but now I’m second guessing myself. S1 definitely had a brighter tone, but I think the amount of hope in all the seasons has been about the same. There’s always the problem and then they fight for the solution.
I think what really has changed is first of all S5 was a lot grittier, especially in 5B. Killian’s was the first major character death we’ve encountered. Even Neal wasn’t as integral to the story as Killian has been. And along that line, the stakes in S5 have been some of the highest stakes we’ve seen. I do agree, S5 been the darkest season so far, and I don’t think we’re finished yet...if A&E do their story well, they’ll give us a bit of a breather this season (maybe even a couple). We’re due for a little bit of a plateau narrative wise, but the whole point of the plateau is to give your audience a slight break before you start revving up for the final climb (or at least the climb to the next level).
One of the things I do like, though, is that no matter how much the odds seem to outweigh hope (and the balance has been gradually shifting in favor of the odds), hope wins out in the end.

mynameismyth replied to your post: mynameismyth replied to your post: Also. Hades is...
Exactly. People have been blaming Emma for every single thing this half season, so it doesn’t surprise me. And then people are retaliating and blaming Regina. Hades wasn’t some wild animal that was set loose. He had the ability to make his own choices.
It doesn’t surprise me, either, but it is pretty ridiculous all the same. Like if you’re willing to trace everything back to Emma’s selfish choices this season, why not trace it back one step further? To Rumple, who brought the entire situation about in the first place? Emma took on the Darkness for a reason - a selfless reason. And it almost cost her the love of her life, and she took steps to prevent that.
If Emma is to blame for bringing about the situation which allowed Hades to kill Robin... why isn’t Rumple to blame for bringing about the situation which led to Killian’s death and allowed Emma to make a choice to save him?
I’m gonna go ahead and say there MIGHT be some personal bias involved there. But like I said - the blame game is stupid. And not constructive.
