Katelyn is a morally gray character with many major flaws and we should all recognize that more, I think. She's not a good person, but none of the cast are good people.

We always discuss how the boys are freaks or are generally toxic and abusive, or how they stalk and assault others, we need to discuss that the girls are also icky 💚

Travlyn is abuser4abuser and we should all discuss this more often!! They're a darkship at their worst and a comship at their best.

I think Katelyn is into the power she has over people due to her strength, too.

Not because she's ab-si.ve towards the guy she loves, but because of many other things about her.

@mohs-aphmau-hcs does this seem like an alright headcanon? I've already clarified it's not because of how she treats Travis, but if it seems very iffy the hc will be dropped.

Stop talking about Katelyn so much if you hate her. We all saw you complain about her being "abusive"

Once again, allow me to take mystreet way way way too serious for a moment here, since you said this:

Katelyn canonically has issues, she is physically abusive towards her friends, she shuts off communication and responds to most things with anger. She is a character that canonically struggles with those things because of her past, her mother.

I'm not just talking about travlyn when I say that.

I also pointed out that Travis was a huge creep, literally his entire character was sexual harassment until the end of season one. Travis was the absolute worst and deserved to be knocked the fuck out sometimes. I refuse to defend him.

I just think it's weird that people refuse to see Katelyns flaws alongside Travis. I'll be the first to defend her, but also the first one to say she has flaws.

Katelyn being one of the only characters with a GOOD and real redemption and recovery arc but having that entire plotline be in the background aside from her being called out at the end of season two was actually a crime.

Her anger issues, trauma, and struggles with real forms of communication and closing herself off is ignored by the entire fandom, her recovery from toxic behaviors is ignored by the entire fandom.

Her ex girlfriend calls out these issues, Travis calls out these issues, she herself calls out these issues, etcetera.

More people need to actually pay attention to her.

She's a complex character but it's left in the background in favor of other plotlines. She doesn't feel like a main character because of being so pushed back during her character arc.
