SO in the recent everything wrong with mystreet video, jason explained that relics *must’ve* been people to begin with thus changing my rewrite idea about aphmau being forced into irenes host. what if she was like shadrene’s daughter, an apprentice of irene of some kind— and forced into a relic?

think of the staff and eternal slumber irene had done as an experimentation gone wrong, when irene was supposed to emerge — her relic and by extend the person in that relic who can also wield it, emerges instead. no memories, not even a person.

It would make sense, since the people we see used after relics suffer from amnesia, from markings, things unexplainable.
