Baldy in the back is lifting the redhead, by some miracle, but they're not quite synchronized. As HT watches them practice, he learns redhead's name is Mo Guan Shan, and that Baldy's stamina is only about half an hour. Baldy's lifts are getting lower and the strain is visible. HT knows he could lift MGS higher. Let the boy soar in the air like he deserved. All he needs to do was convince them to let him give it a try.
So he asks politely. Redhead tells him to fuck off. He asks Baldy who tells him no. So HT does what he does best, lets money talk. He sticks his hand into the lion's mouth. 1,000 yuan in freshly pressed notes is considered for a moment. Then another.
"Take a break baldy."
