When you’re a pediatric ED nurse and literally no one wants to hear about the dead 5 week old you coded this morning... At least Shaily gets it.

So, Shaily and I have been working on our new diet, or as we prefer to call it, our new live-it! We started back on my fitness pal and have been doing really well! I started at 225, and am down to 217.9. I feel good about this and hope to really work on keeping it up and being successful.

A book I am grateful for:

Picking just one book is impossible, but I can pick a series. The Harry Potter series has provided me with so much happiness, adventure, and a sense of belonging to a community that will never cease to exist. I am a proud Hufflepuff, with an inner Gryffindor. The books inspired movies that will always bring me joy. The books and movies laid the foundation for a theme park that allowed me to experience even more of the magic than before, especially with my Shaily. So much has come from the amazing books written by J.K. Rowling, and I cannot thank her enough for the magic. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to fight dragons, to cast spells, to create potions, and to grow everlasting friendships, all because of Harry Potter.
