I don’t think I’m going to make it through this challenge. A shame, I haven’t “lost” to one in years. Maybe I’ll take a day off work and spend it all drawing to catch up. I’d probably end up sleeping the whole day though. Maybe I’ll just quit my job, then I’d have lots of time for drawing. Heh. Ramble ramble.

This is the first time I‘ve done art of a horse or horse-adjacent creature, and I’m pretty happy with it! I’d been seeing pretty eye about #mythicalmay , and while I don’t have enough commitment to see any of the month-long challenges through, the prompt for day 1 intrigued me - the nykkur. The nykkur is an Icelandic mythical creature similar to the Irish #kelpie , but its ears and forelegs are backward!
