7 months post op (plus 1 yeah 9 months on T) and I finally feel like me!
It’s time.
I’ll be at the hospital for 7 AM, and then getting my surgery... whenever. I’m both nervous and excited, but I have a feeling that everything is going to go well. I’ve wanted this for so long. I can’t believe it’s finally here.
See you guys on the other side!
do you have a surgery date yet? who is your surgeon going to be? i wish you the best of luck!
Thank you! I don't have an official date set yet, I have to wait until after we move to book a date. I was planning on going to Raphael in Plano, TX but I can't afford to do that because we are moving cross country in the spring and I can't push surgery another year. I'm planning now on going to either Mosser or Crane (I like that Crane doesn't use drains, like Raphael), but it depends what happens with my insurance once I get out there since I will be having it covered hopefully completely. That's the plan, anyway. All the money I've made fundraising will be going towards travel and post op expenses as well as expenses during recovery as I will have to be out of work for awhile.
