Yachi had never been to such a fancy party before; the biggest event she had ever really attended was a relative’s wedding, and even then, she found Karasuno’s volleyball matches more important.
So here she was, wearing an elaborate dress, an ornate mask and heels out of all things. The outfit was definitely the most expensive and luxurious thing she had ever worn, and if the blonde had to be honest, she felt rather nervous wearing it. She never really liked wearing fancy clothes, mainly because they were too easily stained, and she felt uncomfortable when people stared, even if it was to appreciate the outfit. The mask didn’t make things better, in fact, it made it all the more unnerving.
Unable to see any familiar faces in the crowd of well-dressed people, she made her way over to a nearby buffet table. The food definitely looked fit for a ball: delicate bite-sized cakes, fresh green salads, intricate sugar dusted desserts and even an entire roasted pig (the pig startled Yachi - didn’t those only appear on television?)
While moving over to take a look at a dessert stand filled with raspberry macarons, a sudden twist in her ankle caused her to trip. With a massive yelp, she flailed backwards, stepping on part of her dress and accidentally pushing several party goers out of the way.
Did it have to be heels?! Panicking, Yachi grabbed onto someone and pulled herself up, her mask almost slipping off her face. Realising what she had done, she quickly took a step back, squeaking out a hasty apology.
“I-I’MSOSORRY!”

Go to the petting zoo Hiro, they said. It’ll be fun Hiro, they said.
This wasn’t fun. Nothing about this was fun, in fact he was pretty sure this was the definition of the opposite of fun.
Humiliating didn’t even begin to describe the state the boy found himself in. No, demeaning was much more apt. He knew this would happen, how could it not have? He hadn’t wanted to go anywhere near a place that was literally asking to make a spectacle of his curse and yet... Here he was. Standing in the middle of the a large fenced in pen filled with assorted barn animals... Despite the myriad of other people there; he was surrounded. Completely surrounded by every sheep that called the zoo home, and some he had a feeling had just simply wandered in from nearby farms as his least favourite part of his ‘condition’ activated itself.
“... Please... Go away” He mumbled; knowing full well that the cloven creatures weren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Though he could get them to help should he ask it, they didn’t seem to want to go away until they were good and ready; at the moment they seemed only good and ready to nudge his hands for attention and stand like a giant fuzzy barricade around him as onlookers simply stared at the spectacle. “Really, why did I have to be sheep....”
“Hey, excuse me~? I think you dropped this!” The blond called, chasing after the stranger in front of him, clutching to the wallet he’d found on the sidewalk. “Better be careful, you don’t want to be caught with dirty money” He added, chuckling at his own awful joke.

Intoxication.
Yamuraiha didn’t have a drinking problem. It was something she’d adamantly insist… That wasn’t to say however that she didn’t enjoy getting good and drunk every now and then, just letting herself forget the world around her and exist solely in the moment, reveling in atmosphere and present company.
Of course there were also nights she drank just to forget. There was no party, no draw to a bar or social company… She merely clutched a bottle in her hand to forget her demons and forget that always looming concequence of her past.
That night had been no different. Her clouded mind had filled with the desire to forget and her drunken stupor had led her to the beach. The salt night air and the crashing of waves had become a pacifier… Something to focus on that always provided a comfort, a sense of security in lieu of her nightmares. The sea was her safe space and despite the dress she wore she sat in the shallow surf, letting waves that looked black in the night air crash around her hips in a never ending line.
Letting out a low sigh she finally pulled herself to her feet. Even in her current state she knew better than to risk the surf alone at night and drunk, and had planned to reserve herself to the sand. As she rose from the water, cerulean eyes could see she was no longer alone, another figure had joined her sanctuary and lay staring at the night sky not too far from her.
Chuckling and not oposed to the company she stumbled up the sand, grains still warm from the faded sun pouring through bare toes. Turning she flopped down beside the stranger, and she turned her gaze to the starry canopy over head that had enraptured his attention.
“You looked lonely” She said simply, folding her hands over her stomach as she watched the constellations dance overhead. “Want some company?”
