My sister is a dancer so to see the hard work dancers go through, I give props to them because that is some serious strength and endurance they need and have. Aloha! I have a completed manuscript that I've run thru a professional manuscript critique. In addition, I've workshopped three chapters with a writing class. As I make changes, I'd like a CP to review for feedback on what works and what doesn't. Intent is to polish the work so I can get it query-ready! It's my 1st.  One-liner: When Diggs, a physically unfit, failed student, is unwittingly signed up to run a half marathon, it pits him not only to accomplish the training and finish the race, but to save his town from extinction. I'd like to trade chapters with a CP and provide feedback on a weekly basis. What I'll do is identify what I believe is your intent for the chapter and relay whether or not I thought it was effective (and specifically show why)! Am in the Air Force, with education in computer science, telecomm mgt & intl relations. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully working with you! Mahalo!

Tell us about you! I want honest AND nurturing feedback.  I'm a writing teacher and have written nonfiction and poetry for years, but this is my first foray into fiction. I'm currently working on an NA novel and an NA short story. I really want someone to plot/brainstorm with. I'm good at characterization and introspection. I'm struggling with immediacy and amping up the conflict.

Tell us about you! I'm a high school graduate whose future is hazier than a bathroom mirror after an hour-long shower with steaming hot water, so I spend a decent amount of time writing, reading, and watching/reading educational material and expanding my mental repertoire. I've got a few projects I'm working on at the moment, so I'd love for someone to take a look at them and tell me what they think. I, in return, can look at what you've written, but I really would rather not do anything fantasy/sci-fi/paranormal. I'm somewhat picky when it comes to what I read, but I won't be harsh, either.
