QotD: If you were thrown into a competition to meet the love of your life, would you take part? Also, would it be a Prince/Princess or one of the competitors? Alright, time to talk about book 1.5 in The Faerie Tale Romance series, The Lily Gate by @hannasandvig TLG is a The Frog Prince/The Princess and the Frog retelling with a talking frog who loves sweets, a bachelorette competition, a half fae half human princess who takes charge of her own life, and a true love's kiss. You follow a young woman named Tuala, a fae princess who loves to bake and likes order just as much. This competition to find the love of her life her mother concocted should be simple enough. Fae princes from around the Seelie kingdom just need to take part in 3 competitions, and win each one and earn a . . . Kiss from her. Tuala isn't super stoked to kiss a bunch of guys, but her mother swears that a way to find love is to feel the sparks from their kiss. Alright, should be easy enough, except, someone Tuala was expecting to meet hasn't arrived, even though a talking green frog is telling her otherwise. This was the third book I read in this series. It was so fun and cute and I actually enjoyed the challenges in this bachelorette style competition. If you're a fan of The Frog Prince or The Princess and the Frog and just want a cute, fun, chill romancy filled read, give this story a try. I think you'll have a lot of fun 😁 . . . . #bookstagram #fantasybook #booksofig #readersofig #booknerd #booklover #bookworm #bookdragon #ilovebooks #bibliophile #bookcommunity #thefaerietaleromance #yafantasy #yabook #nafantasy #nabook #hannasandvig #romantasy #cozyfantasy #portalfantasy #romancebook #thefrogprince #retelling #thelilygate #indiebook #indieauthor https://www.instagram.com/p/CoxbNHzLNsO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Y’all, this one is gonna be good. 😏 Perfect for my fellow fantasy romance fans. The Unmarked Witch releases September 20th! You can add it to your Goodreads shelves and preorder it now at a special price of .99 cents. Keep reading for the description: ★ BOOK DESCRIPTION // ALL RAVEN WANTS IS PEACE. BUT IN A MAGICAL REALM PLAGUED BY DECEPTION, THE ONLY THING HER WORLD KNOWS IS TURMOIL. A land where witches wear their spells like tattoos is no place for a woman without a single magical mark—except for Raven, whose unblemished skin contradicts the truth of her power. Surviving under the scowls of her fellow witches has carved indelible scars into her mind over the years—just as the day she watched the Dark King's men murder her grandmother in cold blood. But the Dark King's reign of terror is far-reaching, and Raven's grandmother won't be the last witch to die under his rule. After the death of a coven leader heralds the start of the infamous Witch Trials, Raven finds herself dodging death to triumph. The journey quickly descends into perils far greater than she'd ever imagined, including a war on her heart from a man she’d only ever known as a villain. Still, trust is always fragile in kingdoms ruled by magic, especially when love enters the fold. Yet, something else is awry in the land of spells and shadows and Raven must decide whether she trusts her gut or her heart. The Unmarked Witch is the first gripping book in the seductive and intriguing duology, Unmarked. ★ HASHTAGS // #unmarked #theunmarkedwitch #witchyreads #mirandalyn #fallrelease #witchbook #fantasybook #nafantasy #romanticfantasy #fantasyromance #romantasy #coverreveal #bookstagram #fantasybooks #booknerd #booksofig #bookaholic #bookhoarder #bookworm #booklover #bookstagrammer #booklove #bookcommunity #bookobsessed #bookaddict #booksbooksbooks #bookstack #bookphotography #bibliophile #shelfie https://www.instagram.com/p/CaYEokAvDVa/?utm_medium=tumblr
📖 Book Review: The City of Zirdai by Maria V Snyder NA/ Adult Fantasy. Second book in the Archives of the Invisible Sword trilogy. Thank you to the publisher for sending me a copy for the book tour a few weeks ago! #gifted Swipe for my full thoughts, but TLDR; While the start was a little bit slower than the first book in the series, I devoured this book. I loved getting to explore more of the characters and magic. I’m really curious to see where the story will go next. most anticipated releases of 2021:
blood and honor, miranda lyn.
I started writing a Fantasy Novel! As of right now, it's for a class (enough for me to incorporate my six sources) and I am loving it. I don't think I will post it anywhere online. It's working title is I AM FIRE, it's going to most likely be New Adult Fantasy (because I loved ACOTAR so much), and it incorporates bits and pieces from Arthurian Legends. Yes, King Arthur is in it 😊 #amwriting #newadult #fantasy #amwritingfantasy #nafantasy #author #write #writer

@elriel-month Do you remember the very first picture of the month Elriel? now completely in color) The idea was to depict through the characters, one scene from the book The Courtyard of the Silver Flame, when a wooden statuette was described- a rose stood on the fireplace in the shade, illuminated by the light of the mother (this is how I remember, not a fact)😅Well, in general, it's already clear-forbidden love. Now this image can be obtained from @booksknownoage (instagram)

The third week of #Elriel has already ended, though belatedly, but a drawing that is made in color is always more interesting, right?) I wonder if my vision coincided with yours?
