Ways to approach the poll if the character isn’t a royal:

If you think they’d be from a smaller house, go with the Great House that that smaller house is sworn to (ex: House Manderly —> vote Stark)

They don’t have to be a nobleperson, they can be someone working for the house or being ruled by them. Roles could be a sworn-sword, a septa, a butcher, a blacksmith, or even a lowly peasant.

You can consider the region itself. For example, if you feel the character would be from Dorne, pick House Martell.

You can consider the personality of the character. For example, if your character is all about honor, then consider either House Arryn or House Stark.

Last, but not least, be creative with it! For example, there was a comment I read that the character who was the subject of the poll would be pulling a Littlefinger, so they went with either Lannister or Tyrell as that would be that character’s target houses.

Should they have ventured outside the safety of Vorya and the rest of the Russian owned institutions? Probably not. But Viktoriya hadn't visited City Social in months and a few high-alert Frenchmen weren't going to stop her. Besides, it appeared to her that she would have two body guards for the night. Nadya certainly wasn't at her beck and call but she didn't doubt the woman would protect her should the need arise. And of course, Tahal was always with her. The thought had the blonde settling into her chair further, glass of champagne raised to her lips.

"I would toast only I've done it so often lately that the effect has worn off." Vika smiled at the woman across from her and took a long sip of the bubbly drink. Is what I wanted to post. Then I realised that I have hope, actual hope that you will tell me something I don't already know which will make this whole fandom outrage situation a solvable problem.

Finding things that would fit Nadya was easy; buying them was a different story. Always being on the run, not having a single place to call home, it forced Kwannon to remain on the move and keep an amount on her to survive. And now she’d dragged this poor woman from the only home she knew into another world she knew nothing about, with no money of her own. Theft it would have to be. “As I’ve said, they’ll care nothing if you’re a double agent. There are a few on the Council who’ve committed crimes against the human race and no one seems to bat an eye. They’re not going to turn away one of their kind if they’re in need of refuge.” Kwannon lowered the many bags to the grass at their feet to give her shoulders a break. “Plus, they owe me. They’d lose a good ally by ignoring my request for you to stay here.”
