I know there’s nothing in the summaries that actually indicate Satoshi bonding with an individual Nagetukesaru let alone capturing it, but this baby boy here looks like he could be the one my friends

New preview up for SM064, and this scene just ♥ Even if Satoshi doesn’t end up catching Passimian/Nagetukesaru, these two do look like they’ll bond a friendship and I’m so gonna love it!

SM064 - Thoughts

God damn that was a good episode. Good mix of serious and humor regarding the Nagetukesaru/Passimian and their boss play. And my god I adore Satoshi and his willingness to help Pokemon out, it’s so pure ;v; And Sun & Moon’s “filler episodes” end up being my absolute favourite episodes, like, not many shows do that! Before Pokeani, I’d have skipped filler episodes. Now I refuse since I could def miss out golden material episodes!

The Nagetukesaru definitely reached a place in my heart after this episode. They’re so adorable and amazing, and the way they interact with Satoshi and Junsa is nice to see. Red Buns were mean and full of themselves (and so freaking huge), I’m glad they eventually lost the rematch >:( (The scene where Satoshi is looking at them at the start is freaky intense.) Even Kaki finds them annoying since they once broke stuff in their farm! How rude!

I already mentioned this, but Mokuroh was so god damn adorable in this episode, and I just love that birb so much! ♥ Being a throw ball between Suiren and Satoshi was kinda cute, since it just flew to the direction it was thrown to. It didn’t seem impressed with Satoshi’s grab hold first thou :D

And I love how they all accept Satoshi as a silly pure person he is. Great group of friends, the kind I like ♥ Lilie coming up with the suit, Kukui being alright with Satoshi attending the classes as Nagetukesatoshi - just so god damn pure.

The other half of the show where Nagetukesatoshi (name given by Suiren, gosh Suiren is a great persona) comes into play is amazing! He seriously blends into the group of Nagetukesaru of Melemele, even if it did take some time, and the small one that first befriends Satoshi is adorable!! I’m weak for such cuteness ;v;

Melemele Greens eventually win with everyone’s efforts, and Satoshi became the boss of the group lol. But oh my god, the Poke Problem segment! I’m telling you, do not skip these! It was freaking adorable, all of Satoshi’s pokemon being worried about Satoshi, even Pikachu questioning Kukui’s confidence, but then a whole pack of Nagetukesaru come back with Satoshi carried on their hands. I could not have hoped for better Poke Problem scene!

Honestly, Satoshi befriending the whole group and initially becoming the boss of the pack is way better outcome than befriending one and catching it. I mean... Satoshi can literarily just go to them and ask them for help? Right? :D I somehow believe we’ll see them again!  And the PokeProblem question makes me believe there’s two more packs of Nagetukesaru in Ula Ula and Poni Islands, so we might see those packs someday? Maybe? At least they’re fanfic material!

Oh, and OST keeps on being amazing. Pokeani, never disappoint!
