Oh, no... not again... why is Devin Williams closing the game tonight? He lost that job because he couldn't do it. And this is why.... In 3 pitches, Devin already gave up a run. The first for the Angels this evening. Now, he gave up a base hit. And another base hit. Imagine that. The tying runs are on first and third for the Angels. Take him out, Boone!!! Why is he in there, Boone?!!! He is not a closer. He's not a bad pitcher, but he's a horrible closer. There is only one out, and I'm getting nervous. He is struggling to get the second out. The pitch... the hit... a line drive to Volpe, who handles it masterfully and gets the ball to Lemahieu for the out at second. Thankfully, only one run scores... 3-2, Yankees. I gotta give DJ credit. He made a great play by keeping his foot on the bag!! Thank you, DJ!! Great job!! It's now a one run game with one out left. Can Devin do it? I sure hope so. The count is 3-0... why is he pitching? The pitch... popped up into foul territory by third base... Peraza makes the catch!!! Thank you so much, Oswald!! Peraza has become a great glove who makes the amazing catches to win games for the Yankees!! Despite Devin Williams, the Yankees win, 3-2!! That was a nail bitter, for sure... whew.... LET'S GO, YANKEES!!!!!
