.Nailvengers Assemble | Glitter Placement.
Last year at the Cosmo Blog Awards i teamed up with a few of my favourite nail bloggers (One Nail To Rule Them All, The Nailasaurus, Lucy’s Stash and Brit Nails) for the evening and we had such a great time together we decided to create a nail art challenge this year painting different nail designs each month around a certain theme - we are The Nailvengers!
I missed last month's challenge as i was sunning myself in Spain but this month the theme is ‘Glitter Placement’ so i’ve created this shiny and summery pastel manicure!
It looks really time consuming but i actually really enjoy glitter placement and once you get on a roll it takes no time at all. I used Barry M's Coconut White and Rose Hip Pink for the base before placing my Glitter pieces and studs (both from bornprettystore) into a wet layer of clear polish using a dotting tool. Finish with a good coat of Seche Vite and you're all done!

.Nailvengers Assemble May Challenge | Florals.
Last year at the Cosmo Blog Awards i teamed up with a few of my favourite nail bloggers (One Nail To Rule Them All, The Nailasaurus, Lucy’s Stash and Brit Nails) for the evening and we had such a great time together we decided to create a nail art challenge this year painting different nail designs each month around a certain theme.
Those of you who follow my outfit posts on Instagram (@xameliax) or on here too will know I love florals! They just seem to be my go-to with tops, skirts and accessories and I just can’t get enough of this happy pretty print, so this month’s Nailvengers challenge is my absolute favourite so far! It’s also the first time I’ve sat down to paint my nails properly in a long time due to time commitments so I really enjoyed the whole thing and I adore the finished look too.

I started with a base of Barry M Rosehip* and painted on my roses and leaves free hand using a variety of polish colours and a nail art brush before dotting on my ring finger pattern and free-hand striping the pointer finger. Although it looks pretty intricate it’s actually a very easy design to recreate – just keep adding flicks of highlight colour to your pink flower blobs until they start to look like roses!
