Due to the lack of fic involving aro/ace Luke, despite it being a fairly prevalent idea, @astriiformes and I hosted a fic drive. Prompts were submitted to this blog, and 14 fics resulted from 9 authors. I’m leaving the prompt list here, and the collection open if people want to continue to add to it.

I’ve arranged the fics somewhat by era and prompt:

Original Trilogy

From the prompt “...Palpatine planning the same kind of conversion tactic that he used on Anakin, only to be deeply confused when Luke’s strongest bonds are his friends.”

A Thousand Candles by astarsdarkheart

Most humans - and most other life forms that Sidious knows of - have a very specific, and very predictable, weak point. Leveraging it to bring the next generation's Skywalker in line should solve a great many problems. But that requires finding the one unique weak point. And Commander Luke Skywalker does not make that easy.

Corruption by Augustine94

Palpatine is determined to corrupt Luke Skywalker. This should be easy, just like it was for his father. Trouble is, the method that corrupted Anakin doesn’t seem to be working on Luke.

Post-ROTJ, Luke and Leia have a quiet bonding moment; Leia helps Luke figure out that he's ace.

Nakari and Luke have a much needed talk after the events on Omereth.

 A/N: This fic diverges from that prompt a bit because I was conscious of not wanting to overwrite the existing representation of an interracial relationship. So I wrote this as Nakari being bi or panromantic and asexual, and Luke being asexual and questioning his romantic orientation but being somewhere on the aromantic spectrum.

This ended up a little less 'helping Rey to understand her identity' and more just starting along the pathway to a greater awareness of the scope of labels and experience out there - talking about attachment in an aroace context and universal connections.

It did occur to Luke that he had no idea of what a cool uncle actually did. Sure, Uncle Owen was cool in his own way, if you squinted, but other than that Luke hadn’t a clue.
