We're on our 5th go around of the pokedex, and we've gone full circle- we're back to Have You Used This Pokemon? Our focus in this particular round is finding which pokemon is the most and least used, along with a secondary focus of which pokemon are most suggested to be used or avoided!
We're starting from the beginning with Bulbasaur, who'll post on March 16th at 1700/5PM UTC! We'll move up the pokedex in national dex order, with a poll posting every 4 hours. These polls will all be tagged as the pokemon's name, the region they were introduced, and #pokepoll. Any pokemon that has received any Reviews will have them listed under a readmore in descending order of Highest rating to Lowest. Reviews/Propaganda can be sent in through the ask page or through this google form!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great time ^^
Below is further explanation of other things you might see during this round!
FAQ
I have a frequently-asked-questions page here! It's not all encompassing, but might answer some more common questions. Feel free to send in any questions you have, regardless of if they're on there or not ^^
Feedback
Trying out something new this round, I've opened up a feedback form on google forms, here! It can be used for any sort of feedback or suggestions, as I'd like to make sure I keep the polls / blog as fun as I can for y'all ^^
Premier Polls
These are minigame polls, meant to offer a little variety from gen-to-gen. This round will have a focus on Who's That Pokemon? I will give you a Silhouette, a Cry, or a Feature, and your goal is to identify which Pokemon out of the five listed it is! There will be three pokemon chosen per generation, spaced as evenly as possible within that gen. [Ex. Kanto has 151 pokemon, so there will be a premier poll every 50 polls.] If all three pokemon are correctly identified, then there will be a fourth, bonus poll based that uses Trivia as the identifier.
Sources
I will be using a lot of images that, unsurprisingly, I did not make! So I'd like to properly credit them here, as easy access.
Bulbapedia/Bulbagarden - My Main Source for all official art, Pokemon Card artwork, and sprites from the Gens 1-4 mainline games.
Pokemon Showdown - Gen 5 and Gen 5-styled sprites, including fan-made for Gens 6-9
Wikidex.net - Pokemon Home models and gifs from the switch games
If I pull from any sources from than these, they will be mentioned directly on the post ^^

We are now on round 4 of going through the entire pokedex! From asking our url, to shiny pokemon, to: Is this pokemon your fav? Inspired by the phrase 'every pokemon is someone's favourite,' we're aiming to see if it's true! Rather than the standard survey where you might have to pick a favorite from all 1000+ options, we're going to go one-by-one and celebrating each pokemon as they come ^^ Tumblr has a limit of 12 options per poll, too
With this, we're going in National Dex order starting with Bulbasaur! Regional variants will have their own posts, which will be posted in the region they were introduced. A poll will be posted every 4 hours, and will be tagged with the pokemon, the region introduced they were in, and #pokepoll. These polls will also have read-mores with user-submitted endorsements (stories, propaganda, screenshots, or art) when applicable! You can send in your endorsement on either our submission page (browser only) or ask page ^^
Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great time!

I named the shiny Carbink I found in either Moon or Ultra Sun Labradorite and I feel like it's still probably one of the best names I could've picked.
I had to google Labradorite, so I thought I'd share my finding as well- what a beautiful mineral!! And an extremely fitting name for a shiny Carbink, the colors match so well!!! It's easy to imagine them reflecting light in that same way too, fantastic choice in name!
We're in round 3 of going through the pokedex, and this time we're focusing on Shiny pokemon! Rather than use, we're simplifying the question to 'Do you have this shiny pokemon?' We all know they're a little bit rarer, ultimately worth the same, but really cool to find and add that special feel to some of our favorites. So, with that in mind, our polls are aiming to figure out what shiny pokemon people actually look for! If you have the shiny, did you hunt for it or was it by luck of the draw? If you don't have the shiny, are you looking for it or is it not in your scope?
We're going in National Dex order, with Regional Variants being posted next to their National counterparts. A poll will be posted every 4 hours, and will be tagged with the pokemon, the region introduced in, and #pokepoll. Each poll will also include a read more that feature stories or pictures of shinies that users have submitted. If you'd like to submit your own story and/or photo, you can do so here!
Thank you for reading, and hope you have a great time!

Though we’re long since past that generation, when I told my wife you were ranking names, she insisted I tell you about Poo.
My wife names her Pokémon far more often than me, and when she caught an Abra in Brilliant Diamond, she wanted to name it Poof. The game rejected it, and I said “I think it’s because Poof is derogatory for gay people in British English”, but she said “I think it’s because of poo.” So she set the name as Poo.
And it allowed it
And she doesn’t rename her Pokémon.
So she has an Alakazam now named Poo
Sometimes in public she’ll look at me, a desperate look in her eyes, and say “I gotta Abra.”
I GOTTA ABRA
That's so funny, we love taking an opportunity and running with it
Less a silly nickname to submit and more a question for anyone who played Sun/Moon: how many people named the Solgaleo/Lunala that you got from Lillie "Nebby"? It seems like a Really common sentiment
I actually did a poll like this before! But I don't mind doing it again- this time I'll drop the 'use' condition aha.
When I first started playing Pokemon it was red version and I didn’t know ANYTHING about it besides Pikachu being there so when it came time to nickname my Pokemon I would methodically retype their name with Proper Noun Capitalization because the all caps bothered me. Which is how I ended up with my beloved PIDGEOT named Pidgey.
This was also my naming scheme in gen 3!!
Maybe it symbolizes how we carry our childhood into the rest of our lives
