What Asra actually means!

So, I was looking through Asra wiki page(?) and I found out that asra actually an arabic name??

As an someone who is Arab and lives in arabic country I was confused as I had never heard that name before lol

You see, Asra is actually a verb in arabic rather than a name.

Asra means (according to his wiki page) travel at night, but what it really means is "traveled at night" which is used for males.

In the other hand, the noun form of "Asra" is "Isra'a" which is a name for females,

Isra'a means "a travel at night"

Even tho Asra is in fact verb not a noun I found couple of people whoes name is Asra, so it's used in some areas apparently i don't know why lol
