This is … this is just Professor Hulk from the comics. Its the same thing.
yeah, that’s what I’ve gathered from the writers?
i wont lie, I would have preferred Worldbreaker Hulk/the Green Scar, marvel has personally failed me by not giving us the bitter, jaded and profoundly tired grouch that I demand. then again they techniaclly gave us Caeira in Valkyrie, who is pretty much just a human-looking Caeira in all but name so... fair, I suppose?
the impression I tend to get from the Merged Hulk/Professor Hulk, as he’s usually written, is that they tend to do him as ‘bruce banner, in Hulk’s body’ and I prefer to try to think of it as giving hulk himself some prominence here?
like I prefer Hulk character development above all else; not for nothing is the short arc prior to Planet Hulk my favorite Hulk story and a REALLY telling take on his mindset that I like to apply everwhere.
“If even the weapon that made us couldn’t kill us, then maybe nothing can. Maybe we are doomed, for all time. Doomed to be... me.”
