#1: okay but is anyone surprised??? what's new smh
#2: oh wow a drug rumor about celebrities. How new and original. Even if it is true, who cares? They're all spoiled kids with money to spend anyways.
#3: @#1 - you fail to see that some of these people have established careers and are well known. this rumor could destroy everything they worked for plus where is the proof that they do drugs anyways!?
Aesthetic Post ( 10/ ?? ) : [ Bora x Namjoon ] ▶ Butterfly - BTS “ Don’t think about anything
Don’t even speak
Please just smile for me I still can’t believe it
Everything feels like a dream “
Jiyong’s job usually wasn’t causing too much stress as he mainly viewed it rather as relish than work to which’s he was a slave. But Lush wasn’t a barely know club on the city’s outskirts. Some of the hottest parties were taking place there and many celebrities happened to pay a visit, so whenever a bigger event was upcoming, that was the time when he — the so infamous DJ, as some described him — could feel the pressure.
The playlist had to be carefully thought-through and a day before he would be stubbornly practicing on the mixing board and the launchpad in an attempt to make each of the already known songs sound fresh and new.
His tracklist looked like a rushed draft, with some fleeting thoughts scribbled on the margin and several question marks written here and there. Although the party where the Seoul’s elite was supposed to gather was to shake the club next week, coming up with the playlist a night before would only be a complete distaster.
Namjoon was the first person popping up in his mind once he pondered to who he should turn to for a little help. The other’s music taste was very similar to his and he was always willing to trust his ideas.
Despite not being certain whether he would find him in SE Radio’s building, Jiyong’s steps led him towards there. Saying a hello to people he had stumbled upon on his way to the right room, spotting the younger male in the hallway spread a smile of relief across his lips. “Hey, you have a while for your old pal?” Raising an arched eyebrow, he hurriedly walked up to the taller man whilst taking the sheet of paper out of his jacket’s pocket.
most days seunghyun keeps his head down, keeps his books held tightly, keeps his eyes on the floor or the doors or the chairs, or anywhere that doesn't include eye-contact. he walks through the school like this, a ghost in his own skin, hoping above hope that he can sift through the crowds unnoticed as much as possible. he lives his life day to day, putting one foot in front of the other, and for right now that seems to be the only way to survive.
but his size and stature at the school, his reputation for being weak and pathetic, always proceeds him and even though not every student joins in on the teasing and bullying, most of them at least do laugh at him or just watch while he is mercilessly torn apart. it is a rare day that anyone steps in-- so rare in fact, he's long since given up expectations of it, never uttering a "help me" in his goddamn life. when they come for him, all he can do is curl up and hope the bruises don't last too long. even the teachers don't try to save him at this point-- which is surprising given when you think about how much wealth the choi family has. with a word, seunghyun could probably have this whole building burnt to the ground. instead he stays silent.
when they come for him in the cafeteria, it's no surprise. they jeer at him and shove his food into his face, laughing and telling him to eat more; he's looking a little thin today. he tries to push them off, but there's four of them and he is not strong. he is not a fighter. they get food smeared all over his shirt, still goading him, but he just clenches his teeth together. all he has to do is graduate from this hell, get away from these people and never see or speak to them again. he can't be saved, but he can outlast them.
Sehun sighed quietly as he flopped back on his bed, arms reaching overhead in a stretch. Namjoon was somewhere in the room with him, he didn’t bother to see where, though. He’d invited him over for a few reasons - one of which was the simple fact that his friends were busy with other things. They had lives, how boring was that? But Namjoon was cute and he seemed to like Sehun, so that was good enough reason for him.
“So, pretty boy,” he said, “I’m glad you came over. We don’t know each other nearly well enough outside of school…we should change that.” He finally made a move to sit up again, his movements languid as his gaze swept to fall onto Namjoon. Few things Sehun liked more than people who didn’t yet seem tainted. Though he didn’t know much about him, he knew enough from the likes of Gossip Girl and what had floated around the school, that he wasn’t exactly part of their world.
He was a farm boy, and Sehun liked the promise of what he could become should he be surrounded by the city for too long. To see what he could get him to become. “Come over here,” he offered with a tilt of his head, a faint hunt of a smile on his lips that could have been predatory if anyone bothered to notice. “Tell me something interesting,” he requested, though left it open as to what the other might interpret his meaning as.
Kim Namjoon is a Yoon. Bora knew that, later than she should. But one thing was for sure, her mother already knew about it too. She already knows that for sure. She might’ve been blinded by her father’s kindness but she is not deaf around the secrets that are whispered around the walls of their own home.
Bora was way too clever for her own good. Way too cautious with her own actions too. Her half-brother was one of those few people that she passed by every single day while she was in Cheongnam. He used to be part of the crowd but also detached. He was going to stay that way, supposedly. If not for the letter from Cheongnam that day when she discovered the ugly truth about a boy in the crowd, sharing the same blood as her and her twin brother.
Curiosity took Bora over when she saw the mail. Seeing it to be from her school, she wondered if her brother did something stupid, enough to make the school write a letter to them. Maybe it was that she did something good that is worthy of a letter but no, someone else’s name was on the report card list. Some Namjoon kid. Some kid whose report card copy reaches her home.
Years have passed since then when she found someone who shares her blood and supposed to carry the same last name as her too. Then on, she avoided him at all cost. Because who would want a brother who reminds you every day that he is the mistake of her own father.
the visit to geomsohan bakery had somehow turned out to be a must for sumin that week considering that a friend worked there, which explained why their pastries tasted similar to the ones she had eaten before coming here. pastries always had a special place in her heart. she wouldn’t even mind if the only thing she had to eat was pastries for the whole month, she would still be happy enough that it was pastries out of everything. a smile was automatically spread on her lips as soon as she stepped into the place, her nose quickly registering the pleasant aroma of baked goods in the back of her mind.
if there's a place called heaven on earth, it would be a bakery.
sumin made her way towards the display rack filled with variety kind of donuts next to the counter and took her time to scan everything, biting her lower lip gently at the thought of devouring them right away now. they looked so nice and she bet they would taste as good as they looked like, after all she had came here a few times before. too busy trying to choose which donuts she should buy for now, sumin didn’t even realize a man had came up next to her until she heard him speaking to the staff of the bakery. his voice didn’t sound foreign to sumin, but she couldn’t really tell why or how it wasn’t anyways.
where had she heard this voice before? her gaze was drifted towards the man, hoping that by seeing his face she could have remembered something, but it was nothing. his face wasn’t as familiar as she thought it would look like. she frowned slightly at the thought that perhaps she had heard it wrong, but when he spoke for the second time, she was certain that it was this voice that she had been listening to all this while. curiosity got the best of sumin as she finally walked up to this man, an iffy look gracing her features. “excuse me,” she started slowly. this wasn’t even necessary but she just had to make sure about it. “this might sound random... but do you work as a radio dj or something?”
