Vivienne Westwood Package Opening

So this is going to be my first post in quite some time and it's going to be a bit different from the ones I usually write, but it still has to do with fashion and whatnot.

Recently I've been re-reading Nana by Ai Yazawa which is a great manga which couples trendy styles and punk styles beautifully. Since i have read it I have been obsessed with getting my hands on some of Vivienne Westwood's jewelry because it's just so damn beautiful and my chance came about three weeks ago when a lady was selling her Saturn orb on Ebay for a very reasonable price. I jumped on it and the necklace just arrived today and I wanted to share the very special package opening with all of you.

This is the little package that it came in. It was all smooshed up when I went to get it from the post office and I remember thinking to myself: "God, I hope the necklace isn't broken in there!"

I opened the package and this gigantic box was inside with Vivienne's official trademark stamped right on the front.

So excited!

And inside that huge to-do was a very delicate crystal orb set with beautiful stones.

I put it on right away and I must say it looks pretty bitchin' with a black dress. A part of me would like to get a longer chain so that it hangs down to the center of my breast-bone. I think it would be very eye-catching that way (and very Shin-like). :)
