Nanbaka Week - Day 6 - Headcanons/Theories

Well I don’t have any theories or headcanons of the Nanbaka characters themselves, BUT I love reading any theories and headcanons since they capture my attention and draw me into that theory/headcanon~

But thought of a few headcanons with my character, Ruthie and how she thinks/reacts to the other inmates~

Nico - 

~ Has met him before since she was one of the few nurses to help take care of him and was one of the few who became a friend to her before she came to Nanba Prison

~ Loves to hang out with him and got her love of anime from him. So she loves to read manga and watch anime with him, even suggesting a few that she’s seen and thinks that he may like

~ Helps him when it comes to medicine, or whatever else he needs

~ She and Nico know each other’s dark sides/other personalities since they’ve known each other and seen their dark sides/other personalities themselves

~ Knows about his past a bit but doesn’t say anything about it, not wanting him to feel down or anything

~ Sees him as a best friend even though she has a bit of a crush on him but doesn’t let that feeling bother her even if someone who knows, teases her a bit about it 

Uno - 

~ Impressed with his gambling skills

~ Likes to help him with his hair and nails at times when he needs some help/‘’help’’

~ Knowing his gambling skills are from casinos and their music styles, she sometimes puts on some music from her butterfly/butterflies that he’s heard before, and sings along with him 

~ Get teased by him a bit since he’s figured out that she has a small crush on Nico but tries to ignore him, even if she smiles, rolls her eyes at times, and blushes a bit

Jyugo - 

~ Impressed with his key unlocking skills

~ Learns about the weapon side of him and was shown which she thought was really cool and would like to see them in action if possible

~ Gives him some advice sometimes when he needs it or needs some reassuring

Rock - 

~ Not surprised about how much Rock eats since it reminds her of her older step-brother

~ Likes to train with him, Yamato and Tsukumo at Building 5

~ Won’t admit this but because of Rock’s love for animal, even small creatures, she really likes to be petted by him, even scratched under her muzzle and massaged behind her ears

~ ~ Would like to know more about Cell 13 pasts’ but doesn’t pressure any of them at all into telling her. She promises that she can wait forever until they feel like they trust her enough, knowing she has trust issues as well

Tsukumo - 

~ Curious about who he really is but doesn’t really question it, knowing she’ll probably find out sooner or later

~ Would also like to get to know him more and train by his side

Trois and Honey - 

~ Doesn’t like their flirting so she just ignores their questions, even though she blushes a bit by the questions they ask and feels a bit disturbed by them, knowing she has a human form

~ After hearing what Trois and Honey can do with their specialties from Jyugo and Uno, she seems surprised but would like to see it in action for herself

~ Would like to get to know them more but doesn’t want to get flirted with half the time, so she stays near one of the Cell 13 inmates, knowing that they understand

Upa, Liang and Qi - 

~ Thinks they’re pretty cool to hang out with and would like to get to know them more

~ Likes to train beside them with Rock, Yamato and Tsukumo since she likes to stay in shape and loves to run

~ Likes to battle with any of them or even Samon when she feels ready since she wants to increase her defensive and attack stats, mainly her defensive

~ Likes to be in their new court yard that under construction cause it reminds her of her home when she was a kit, but knows that she can only be in there for a short time

Other Inmates - 

~ Likes to try and communicate with them if she can but rather stay with her friends, even since she’s mostly quiet around others except her friends

The Guards/Supervisors/Prison Staff

~ Does her best to stay on her best behavior since she doesn’t like getting into trouble

~ Likes to communicate with them but likes to stay quiet as well to not interrupt them

~ Likes a few of them like Seitarou, Yamato and Samon, since she thinks they’re pretty cool even if they have some interesting qualities and personalities. But she doesn’t judge them at all and respects them like everyone else

~ A bit scared of a few of them like Hajime, and the Warden, knowing that they have strict qualities

~ Thinks a few of them, like Shiro and Mitsuru, are pretty cool with their qualities and skills

~ Helps Okina, Kazari and Kagu-8 when they need her help with anything

Animals - 

~ Treats them like everyone else and respects them even if they’re different from everyone else

~ Glad to see that she’s not the only animal-like creature in the prison

Overall, she’s very friendly and loves to get to know everyone, old and new, along with helping them if they needed any help. Sometimes she likes to be by herself to collect her thoughts about anything that’s happened recently. At times, she can be easily over protective of her friends/family and can be strict when certain events come by. 

Ruthie also has a dark side but doesn’t really tell anyone about it until she’s ready and trusts the person with the information.
