IM SCREAMINGHGGGG
SweetOnSugden posts a lot of anon asks every day. She has very few actual posts. Interesting. 🤨
A lot of those she sends to herself. Lol
When the company has someone they really want, they use Nancy to seduce them into joining.
This works everytime. But this is the company's trump card. Company will give as many offer they can to the man they wants. If they reject all the way, then they will send Nancy to him. Nancy will start to seduce him in everyway and teasing him. The man can't resist her teasing. Nancy say if he want to free used her, they nid to sign the worker contract of their company then only they can free used her. After hearing this, they quickly sign the contract and release their desires on Nancy.
Nancy is interesting because for a split second, it seems that she recognizes that this is fucked up and even feels some sympathy for Chris, but then any hope she has for being redeemed is immediately thrown out the window when she attempts to convince herself that Chris deserves it and even takes part in his suffering.
One thing I do with Nancy is I think about the way that we use and appeal to authority and existing laws or rules to absolve ourselves of responsibility for things that are going wrong in the world around us.
Think about the kind of people who say, "Well, what did he expect if he argued with the police officer," or who tell you not to tell people you're gay because what will your grandma think, knowing all the while that telling you you have to keep a part of yourself silent is hurting you but that's a less inconvenient hurt, in their eyes, than them having to deal with your grandma being an asshole about knowing. Think about the kind of people who ask you if you're sure you want to wear that short skirt. Or who mock the one who does wear it. Or the people who watch, silently recording, while someone is harassed but don't step in to stop it.
They don't think they're doing anything wrong, because in their own minds they're following authority, they're following the rules, they're following normal and therefore the people who do not follow the rules and who are not normal and who do not treat authority in the same way deserve whatever it is that happens to them at least on some level.
Because if bad things can still happen to good people who follow all the rules and do everything right, the world is a large and frightening place. But if all you have to do is follow the rules and be normal and do exactly everything right and therefore bad things can't happen to you or won't because you have acted in a way that the universe will see as just and reward you for, or you prayed the right way, or you hate the right people... Then the world is small and well ordered and easy to understand.
So you tell yourself that the people who suffer must have deserved it because they did something wrong. Something that you have not done, and therefore that suffering cannot happen to you.
So you see the teenager crying into a mirror because his entire back is one large bruise, and you tell yourself that he signed up for it, that it was his own idea to subject himself to this, because if that's all true even though you really know it isn't, then that means the same thing couldn't possibly happen to your precious child. And the reminder that something like that could happen to that child, that bad things just happen, that your tidy and neat little worldview doesn't even begin to reflect reality as it is... That cognitive dissonance hurts. And it makes you angry.
And you take that anger out on the teenager looking at himself in the mirror.
He must have been a bad person, because if he wasn't, then my God, this might just be a dystopia you are living in, one where your normal contented life is just a lucky roll of the dice.
And you weren't even the one who rolled it.
That's Nancy.
can we pleeeeaaaaseeee get a part 2 to tolerate it?🥺🥺🥺 it literally made my heart ache and when it ended i was like “😶 are you fucking kidding me harry”
Thank you so much!!! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Well, as much as one can enjoy angst, personally when I read angst stories I cry my eyes out and then I’m like “omg I loved that so much”, idk if that happens to anyone else?
And yes of course!!!! I’ll write it over the course of this week, I have another James one out real soon based on Champagne Problems that’s just so extra in the descriptions, I’ve had such fun writing it! I’ll even include some fluff in the Tolerate It Part Two just to be nice, plus my heart broke writing the ending last time and I feel the need to write a better end!! 💕💕
