More Rise Of The Pink Ladies headcanons:

Nancy and Lydia gossip together

Each Pink Lady has a different Drunk Personality (Jane gets really loud, Olivia gets really ditzy, Nancy becomes very bold in a stupid way, Cynthia gets really clingy, Hazel just starts saying random astronomy facts)

T-Bird birthday parties always end up in something breaking

Cynthia once called Hazel over to read her a bedtime story as a joke but it’s become like a regular occurrence at this point

The T-Birds + Cynthia and Olivia have all fallen out of a tree at some point

Nancy does not shoplift unless we’re talking about makeup

Olivia and Richie have both almost broken ankles because they were way too confident about their ability to walk down the stairs in their mothers heels despite being like 6

Edward can hold a handstand for a solid minute (purely because Gil bet he could do a handstand longer than him)

Gil sometimes has to restrain himself from throwing meat at the T-Birds when they come by the deli

Edward knocked out his tooth once trying to ride a skateboard when he was 7 so Cynthia purposely knocked out one of her teeth out of solidarity

Hazel laughs at most of Cynthia’s jokes and Cynthia feels so vindicated every time

Jane likes making flower crowns

Nancy took all of Cynthia’s old dresses and stuff and used them for scraps

I love this scene because it's as if Potato and Nancy were like since Jane x Richie & Gil x Olivia arent working out right now, we're the current T-Birds/Pink Ladies It couple, so we need to serve hard. And LOOK AT THEM, THEY ARE SERVING.

i would give everyone a big ol’ smooch if you guys would stream grease: rise of the pink ladies on paramount+ whenever you possibly can. Today i literally had it playing on my tv while I was at work. I stream it when I’m cleaning my house or reading. Streaming on paramount as much as possible is the only way to guarantee a season 2 so please stream whenever you can, even if you won’t actually be watching it!!

Look everybody is entitled to their own headcanons and interpretations of characters, but sometimes there will be female characters who will constantly express nothing but contempt and disgust for men and will have fucked up toxic codependent relationships with their girl best friends and seeing fans label these characters as other things that aren't Lesbian can get kind of annoying over time. Like c'mon y'all we're all seeing the same thing here

I was just able to buy the whole first season of Rise of the Pink Ladies on Amazon!! Did I miss some big announcement?! I was so upset that they removed it from Paramount+ and I wouldn’t be able to rewatch it. I’m so happy I could scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay but literally Nancy’s character is so important to me as an aroace person because we never get representation(like I don’t think I’ve ever watched a show with an aroace lead) and even though she’s not explicitly aroace her experiences are so incredibly important to me. Her getting left behind by her “friends” in favor of romantic partners is so so accurate and makes me feel seen by this show. Also! The scene in episode nine where she talks about needing the pink ladies and her love story being with them- I almost cried, because I feel the same way. I feel like so many shows put more emphasis on partnering every character up by the end of the show than on the friend group and it was so refreshing to have the happy ending being that they were all happy being friends with each other. Even though their romances weren’t all figured out quite yet, they had each other and that made it so that everything was going to be okay.

Anyway, I cannot believe that this show got taken down by Paramount+ and I think I will be cancelling my subscription, which I only got for rotpl anyway.
