I imagine all the tbirds are extremely protective of Cynthia. Their relationship is very fraternal so I picture it almost in a ‘we can make fun of you but if anyone else tries it they’re dead’ kind of way. like one time when they were children some other kid tried to make a joke about Cynthia in front of Shy Guy and now that kid avoids him at all costs and has done so ever since. there was once a guy who was really into Cynthia (not that Cynthia noticed) but Gil and Potato gave him a shovel talk that scared him so much he never actually tried to ask Cynthia out again. Richie was once dating a girl who made a comment about not liking Cynthia because they don’t act like other girls and Richie dumped her on the spot. and that’s why no one has ever made any comments about the fact that Cynthia dresses very masc or rides a motorcycle or how their personality is just very butch/masc in general because its an unspoken rule that you just don’t.

More Rise Of The Pink Ladies headcanons:

Nancy and Lydia gossip together

Each Pink Lady has a different Drunk Personality (Jane gets really loud, Olivia gets really ditzy, Nancy becomes very bold in a stupid way, Cynthia gets really clingy, Hazel just starts saying random astronomy facts)

T-Bird birthday parties always end up in something breaking

Cynthia once called Hazel over to read her a bedtime story as a joke but it’s become like a regular occurrence at this point

The T-Birds + Cynthia and Olivia have all fallen out of a tree at some point

Nancy does not shoplift unless we’re talking about makeup

Olivia and Richie have both almost broken ankles because they were way too confident about their ability to walk down the stairs in their mothers heels despite being like 6

Edward can hold a handstand for a solid minute (purely because Gil bet he could do a handstand longer than him)

Gil sometimes has to restrain himself from throwing meat at the T-Birds when they come by the deli

Potato told his siblings that he got his nickname after eating a whole raw potato like an apple

Nancy regularly rates the outfits of the two gangs and every time without fail Cynthia and Potato get a 0/10

Lydia has a collection of fake tiaras and crowns in her room

Cynthia loves spicy stuff but Lydia hates anything remotely spicy

Gil once dared Richie to chug an entire bottle of hot sauce (which he did without hesitation)

Nancy knows how to use a bow and arrow with 100% accuracy

Cynthia used to be a horse girl

Edward knocked out his tooth once trying to ride a skateboard when he was 7 so Cynthia purposely knocked out one of her teeth out of solidarity

Hazel laughs at most of Cynthia’s jokes and Cynthia feels so vindicated every time

Jane likes making flower crowns

Nancy took all of Cynthia’s old dresses and stuff and used them for scraps

The T-Birds work at Cynthia’s dad’s garage over the summer

Can we just appreciate how every time Richie says “don’t look at my sister” or something to that effect. Every single time Edward just stares right up at the sky

My predictions and general wants for grease:rise of the pink ladies

Predictions and wants;

Edward(shy guy) becomes a contender for a romance like maybe with Susan or Smth or even olivia

Frankie has some type of romance with susan

The pink ladies learn about Cynthia relationship with lydia

Frankie doesn't get added to Jane's love interest and is just for conflict and backstory

Buddy stays in theatre

Wants;

I want hazel and wally endgame (sorry buddy and hazels little window romance has absolutely nothing on land don't look so bad)

I want Cynthia to come out to the pink ladies fully by her own admission

I want Richie and Jane endgame

I want a Frankie and Susan romance

Susan to apologize for her cruelty to them and they find out about how bad her mom is

Mr Daniels arrested

We learn more about other parts of the world and characters

I wanna see some of their familes

in ep 5 when Gil asks "what are we missing" at the Halloween party and Ed answers "the girls" (my) first thought was the pinks but I think he means Cynthia and Olivia ??

we haven't really seen any evidence of the pinks and t birds hanging out as one group at this point (I don't think) but Cynthia will have obviously been a part of all of their pranks since they first started being little shits all together and in ep 1 Richie says he spent all day convincing their mum to let Olivia come with, I bet he did that all the time and dragged her out constantly, especially on Halloween (or alternatively might have been encouraged to take Olivia with him to try keep him out of trouble) !

The t birds are probably so used to having the two of them - Cynthia's a natural born hype man and an ideas guy, and it's so in character for Olivia to not really take part but to keep making sarcastic comments to not get over excited and use all of the loo roll/eggs etc. too soon so they can keep going - for the first time the t birds are on their own and the vibe is way off, balance thrown, tradition unfulfilled
