We would love a Cressida spin off!

A movie or limited series about her life in the country and finding love. A Fish Out of Water rom-com where Cressida ends up embracing the beauty of life in a quaint small town in Wales. She could fall in love in an Opposites Attract trope with a working-class person who shows the strength and dignity in working for what you have. This love interest could call her out on her uppity behavior and show her by example how to be a good person. Bridgerton gave a great foundation for her redemption arc. They showed us her life and how a toxic family breeds toxic thinking. Showing Cressida’s new life in the country away from gossip and the upper crust could stop her toxic thinking and behavior. Aunt Joanna could be the bad guy that Cressida stands up to in the end or Cressida’s journey could inspire Aunt Joanna to live a little and be kind too. Cressida could even be given a chance to return to the Ton and instead chooses to stay in Wales with her love. Continuing Cressida’s journey of redemption and growth would be amazing.

Episode 5 - POV by Ariana Grande – This must be the mirror scene. We can’t think of a more perfect song for that moment.

Episode 6 – Thunder by Imagine Dragons – This feels like a Lady Whistledown moment, showing how powerful Lady Whistledown/Penelope is.   

Episode 6 – Confident by Demi Lovato – Again this feels like an Iconic Lady Whistledown moment, OR it could also be in the background of the first ball or first outing that Penelope and Colin go to as an engaged couple.

Episode 7 – Yellow by Coldplay – A moment where Colin reflects on his love for Penelope. Maybe he forgives her for lying about being Lady Whistledown.  

Episode 7 – You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift – Penelope and Colin coming together maybe their wedding. OR flashbacks to past seasons or memories of them falling in love.

Episode 8 – Lights (Stripped Down) By Ellie Goulding – Maybe this song plays when Penelope tells the queen that she is Lady Whistledown.

Episode 8 – All I Want by Tori Kelly – Epic Finale. Maybe a big Lady Whistledown reveal.

I have a theory about the Lady Whistledown reveal to Colin after the cut:

We know Colin gets pissed AF about Whistledown when he finds out that it's Pen behind it based on previous interviews Luke has given.

What if the end of episode 6 is Colin yelling at Pen after finding out and he storms off. The last shot is Pen devastated because she thinks it's over between her and Colin. Like it's the blowout of the century.

But Colin storming off is a misdirect. 

Colin is pissed at Pen, for sure, but he can never stop loving her and he's terrified for her.

Episode 7 opens and it's Colin going straight to Anthony to tell him he's compromised Pen and wants to move up the wedding. Because he's desperate to keep her safe.

Colin and Eloise have a heart-to-heart and Colin explains that he could never forsake Pen even though he's upset with her: he understands her heart better than anyone else does and she's the love of his life.

This conversation changes Eloise's perspective on the end of her friendship with Pen, and they finally reconcile.

Episode 1 – abcdefu by Gayle – I think this will be played either when Penelope is getting her new dresses or when she walks into the ball.

Episode 2 – Dynamite by BTS – Setting the vibe for a ball.

Episode 2 – Jealous by Nick Jonas– I think this will be played when Penelope is at a ball dancing or talking with someone else, and Colin is watching OR This song is going to be about Kate and Anthony and how much they love each other and want each other’s attention at parties and such.

Episode 3 – Cheap Thrills by Sia – Colin and Penelope dancing together or simply having fun together.

Episode 3 – Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish – I feel this is about Penelope and Eloise. This could be played in the background of a fight or conversation. Maybe not rekindling their friendship but maybe the beginning of forgiveness.

Episode 4 – Snow On The Beach by Taylor Swift – Something once thought impossible coming true, like Colin returning Penelope’s feelings. This could be his realization that he is in love. Or it could be Penelope realizing her feelings are still there. Or their first kiss.

Episode 4 – Give Me Everything by Pitbull – I think this is probably set to an important first kiss/ love scene between Penelope and Colin.

Our Predictions and Wishes for Season 3 of Bridgerton – check back later and see what we got right and wrong!

I want Penelope to tell Colin that she is Lady Whistledown and not because she is forced too, but because she wants to. For her to explain in her own words why she started writing.

I hope we get sneak peeks of the other Bridgerton siblings love interests, Sophie, Michael, and Phillip.

I really want Eloise to realize how much her family listens and cares about her and how other women in the Ton (and society in general), are not listened too or cared about to the same extent.

I think Francesca will get married to John and meet Michael on her wedding day. I don’t want her to regret her decision, but I want them to have chemistry. However, Michael immediately falls in love with Francesca.

I think Part 1 will end with Colin and Penelope’s first kiss or love scene.

I hope Benedict’s character and storyline will be built up to prepare him to be the main lead next season.

I also think Cressida Cowper’s character and storyline will be built up and be connected to Sophie somehow. Lady Cowper may be Sophie’s stepmother.

I really want Penelope to get to tell Eloise why she became Lady Whistledown. Maybe set to the song “Happier Than Ever”. I want this conversation to lead to a better understanding of each other. It doesn’t need to heal their friendship but might lead them to that path.

I hope watching Polin season helps heal the trauma some people have been carrying around over a preteen boy making fun of them in 7th grade because some of these attacks on Colin can not possibly be about the character from the show.

I was just able to buy the whole first season of Rise of the Pink Ladies on Amazon!! Did I miss some big announcement?! I was so upset that they removed it from Paramount+ and I wouldn’t be able to rewatch it. I’m so happy I could scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
