Alright, so I've seen a few spoilers for this chapter, and I'll just say that I'm SUPER FUCKING HYPED. ...So let's get started. THE MOON HAS A GIANT SHARRINNEGAN PATTERNED ON IT. BECAUSE THAT TOTALLY DOESN'T BREAK LAWS OF PHYSICS THAT EVEN CHAKRA SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN. The double vision is an ouchy. Wait, what? Nobody warned me about Swirl-face not being hollow. Why isn't Swirl-face hollow? Meteors. Because why go for originality? No shit, Chouji. Naruto chakra in people: gone. Giant tree: gone. My patience with Shikamaru: gone. Please have someone else make these revelations, Kishimoto. It's not like most of the current ones aren't observations more than genius-y stuff. WEREWOLF KIBA! I WAS WAITING FOR THIS PANEL. I can't actually tell. Kishi, why it suddenly day there? ...Uh... Mads? Why did you enslave a bunch of cats? I mean, I know the Uchiha had a contract or something, but seriously... Why did you enslave a bunch of cats? They're friggin' CATS. Roots do things. I think that's just the moral of the story: DON'T GET NEAR ANY WEIRD ROOTS. THERE ARE CREEPY OLD MEN LIKE MADARA AND DANZO CONTROLLING THEM. JUST AVOID ROOTS AT ALL COSTS. It shows Mei, Tsunade, Hinata, and Ino getting caught. Is... Is Kishimoto trying to play to fetishes here? Because ew. Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew. Hinata? Okay, that's an insight. Still not possessed, just frozen. How are the roots getting to the rest of the planet? Sasuke's keeping him and Naruto safe. Zetsu's still got a hold of Obito. Unfortunately. Okay, Sakura and Kakashi are there too! It's because you're so racist against the Uchiha. This is supposed to make people happy. Madara wants you to be sad. (More realistically, it just seems like Edo Tensei are exempt from this. So far, only Minato hasn't been shown unaffected.) Oh do we GET AN EXPLANATION FOR SWIRLFACE I'M WAITING HERE? YAMATO. MOTHERFUCKING YAMATO. AFTER THREE GODDAMN YEARS. HERE YOU FINALLY ARE AGAIN. AND THAT'S WHERE YOU WERE HIDING. ...WHY? Well, Sarutobi recognizes him... and he's apparently unaffected? Because... Mokuton? Or something? Minato, when did you get there? Why are you on top of your own head? How? Ew, they look like pinecones or berries or weird bad-water formations. Like you could pluck 'em off and eat 'em. Nasty. END. This was a good chapter. I like this chapter. I'm just disappointed that TenTen and Karin got sealed, because their possible accomplishments are probably going to get shifted to Naruto and Sasuke and I'm not okay with that.
