sasuke's mischaracterization. this issue could be a whole essay, but i will keep it short.
some of you need to realize that the anime does in fact change various scenes, especially, sasuke's. no, he is not as cold and deadbeat as ppl claim he is.

ino and sai have great romantic development in the novels. ino grows to genuinely love and care for sai and vice versa. also, she merely only had a crush on sasuke. she never loved him, she loves sai.

it was a filler tsukuyomi dream she had. the only part that is canon about her past are:
-she was saved by sasuke in the chunin exams -her village was destroyed and she followed orochimaru
"sasuke asked itachi how to speak to a pink-haired girl when he was younger"
this was also never stated. just a popular headcanon.
"sasuke left sakura after sarada was born"
sasuke left for his mission when sarada was a toddler (2-4 yrs).
we know the reason why he left for his mission. if you wanna hate, at least use accurate information.
ranking of the kunoichis. this is definitely one of the most misunderstood concepts.
tsunade was canonically the strongest kunoichi in the naruto verse until sakura surpassed her. this is just an unchangeable fact. team 7 is the strongest team and sakura is stronger than the rest of k12. sasuke and naruto are stronger than EVERYONE, including sakura. considering only sakura's generation, temari would be the second strongest.
there is no point in spreading misinformation about characters to prove their value.

i finished nart volume 40 about a week ago and im just having some thoughts on deidara again...
god ok, i was kinda scared when i started re-reading naruto that i would finally get to the deidara parts and i would, now 15-ish years after i've first fell out with naruto (it was my entry anime + manga and i've been in the fandom for quite a few years back in the day...), think he's just not as good as thought him back then, no longer the blorbo from my shows he used to be....
and when i got to his intro and the gaara arc i was semi-convinced that i'm right about this cause he was pretty one-note in those first chapters
but then, ,, his screentime just gets progressively better, he's obsessed and really funny and his expressions are amazing, just CHEF's KISS of a character
back in the day i half-ragequit the manga after it, but now i love his (first) final arc so much, the futility of it all is just so tragic to me, i think i wanna go back and re-read it soon
so yeah!! i cant believe this fucker is still my favourite character after all these years
