Hey. I am just curious, you haven't posted in a while. Are you on a hiatus?

This, Dear anon, is  a brilliant question. I’ve actually been considering addressing this lately, so here’s what you need to know:

I’m having a rough time in my life, and I have been for the entire duration of having this blog, and sometimes, I don’t feel up to writing. Sometimes, that’ll last for a few hours, sometimes, it’ll be weeks or more. i don’t say that to seek attention or pity, I’m not looking for anyone’s help or additional patience; I only say it because it’s the truth. So, I’ll just come out and make it explicit. I do not know how long it will be between updates.

If you have an issue with that, I’m really, really sorry. I don’t want to upset you, but pretending I can get to things on a deadline isn’t doing you guys any favors; It’d just be lying to you. I will eventually get to your prompt if you’ve sent one. I don’t say any of this to be mean, or upset anyone, and I might start alerting people of little haituses if I don’t feel like writing for over a week.

I am looking at what's already been requested... Sasuke X Tsunade is a popular pairing apparently. How do you feel writing them like that? Also your a fantastic writer, makes my day when I see you updated!

Okay, first off, let me say that I can’t even tell you how much it means to me that you think I’m a good writer! I’ve been doubting this lately and I was in need of this kind of pick me up.

And, now to the actual question Sasuke x Tsunade is really weird to me. I usually see Sasuke as mostly what I’d call “Itachi-sexual" because of his obsession with his older brother, so right off the bat, it seems unusual to me. I also don’t see them as exceptionally compatible on a deeper level, because I see a lot of personality clash, plus, prior to the more recent chapters, I couldn’t see sasuke getting over his Konoha-hatred enough to be with a Hokage. Even now, it seems a bit of a stretch, so, personally, I’m not the biggest fan of the ship and I don’t see it as especially compatible with canon. 

But all of that actually leads me to feel better about writing them, because I like to write what people are desperately looking for, and it makes me happy when I can write things for people who can’t find a lot of it elsewhere. So, any time I get an off-the-wall ship like that, I’m gonna get pretty happy, because it gives me the chance to put out (what I hope is) quality content for ships that don’t get a whole lot of love.

Oh, and I won’t ignore the elephant in the room here. Even though it wasn’t mentioned, I feel like a lot of discomfort could come with the age gap, and you might be curious about how I feel about that. The quick answer is I don’t care! If any relationship is fully consensual, I support it 100%, and I would be happy to support it in real life! If it’s not consensual, I’d be happy to write it with a trigger warning for rape and the caveat that I would disapprove of the relationship if it were to actually happen. And this doesn’t change with a giant age-gap.

Absolutely! I’m actually really glad you requested this because I wanted to write the whole scene, but it was getting kind of long already, so I decided to end it before the smut, but now I get the best of both worlds ^_^ Thank you!
