Bito- the oldest and 9 yrs younger than Sasuke. Lives up to his namesake, mischievous, loves sweets, and his mom’s knife collection. Is always lookin for a fight, and will argue for the sake of it, but has the biggest heart.
Kaori - genjutsu master, 4 years younger than Bito. Cool, calm, collected but a bit of a perfectionist. She loves fried foods, napping and going on hikes with her big brother Sasuke.
Mitsu- Was the perfect little baby. Still is Soft boy, intelligent beyond belief and thinks his parents are the coolest. Partially deaf in his left ear after a training accident when he was 7.

Because she can’t use her excellent chakra control for things like ninjutsu, genjutsu or be useful as a medical ninja, Kaname studied alternative ways of combining the skills she did have.
These studies and training resulted in her acquiring the Strength of a Hundred Seal, and stealing the trademark ability of the Samurai; the Samurai Chakra Sabre technique.
(HC) The samurai at this time were one of the groups who weaponized chakra and were sought after as a result, but unlike the shinobi they viewed ninjutsu, or more specifically transforming the nature of chakra, as destructive to the soul. To them, chakra is essence of the soul, and altering its nature is to twist the natural state of it. Because of this the samurai are considered socially, morally as well as spiritually superior to the shinobi.
That being said, the samurai still manipulates and weaponize chakra through highly advanced methods of chakra control, channeling and shape transformation, allowing them to easily still hold their own against shinobi even without ninjutsu.
Kaname, who was born with a condition that prohibits her from accessing the ability for nature transformation, was inspired by the samurai’s aversion to anything that included that ability but still used chakra to enhance their combative skills and strengths.
With the Samurai chakra Sabre technique and the Strength of a hundred seal in combination, Kaname can pack a lock of chakra into her attacks, making the, more powerful and more precise, especially ranged ones, without suffering the consequence of chakra depletion.

Family, Friends and Godparents:
The only child of Shino and Tenten and so the only grandchild of Shibi.
Shino and Tenten always knew that they wanted Hinata to be Shinja’s Godmother, but Tenten’s going into labour at her birthday party sealed the deal.
In the hospital room after Shinja’s birth, Lee and Kiba began fighting over who would become Godfather, ignoring the nurses and Hinata’s flustered requests to be quiet. Tenten snapped and declared that because they were acting that way, Gai was Godfather. She immediately regretted it because Gai’s celebration was louder and more property damaging than the original fight.
As much as Shinja gets along with and loves his parents, his grandfather is his favourite person. He spends most of his free time with him, training and indulging in his hobbies.
Shinja also gets along well with the Boruto-era children, even though he is two years younger than them.
Physical Appearance:
He has the main physical characteristics of most Aburame: he is tall for his age, has sunglasses on his face, and has a stoic frame. Because of the hives' ability to form protective shields and heal minor injuries, he has no scars.
The main difference is that he wears ankle-length trousers and keeps his coat's high collar open, revealing more of his face.
Has his father's lighter skin tone but his mother's lighter brown hair and eye colour.
Personality and Speech:
Calm and collected, a logical thinker and firm in his decisions, as expected from his clan background.
He does not speak as slowly and calculatedly as his father or grandfather; he speaks in a more even-paced tone, so it’s an instant tell for his parents when he lies when he starts to speak slower—a rarity, but it has happened!
Shinobi Life and Skills:
It was a blessing to have so many old honourary siblings in the Academy simultaneously as him, as this resulted in fewer insults and bullying than previous Aburame children, even his father himself.
Test scores and attendance are high, and thanks to his mother, godfather, and Lee and Metal's influence, he had the highest taijutsu level of Aburame Academy students.
Shinja carries a three-part bo staff attached to his standard shinobi weapons pouch for emergencies or situations where using his hive would not be reasonable.
Beliefs, Hopes and One Fear:
Like the rest of Aburame, his beliefs are that all life has a meaning and shouldn’t be snuffed out without good reason.
When asked what his goal as a shinobi in the Academy was, he would say to be as powerful and nobel a hive master as his grandfather, to one day take on his role as the clan's head and to bring another chapter of prosperity to their already lengthy story.
In the Golden Silk Caterpillar AU, he also wished to see his mother's birth village and the legendary Caterpillars in their home with his own eyes.
The only time anyone has seen him be anything but put together is when he is around large fires. In the Academy, an incorrectly contained fire jutsu took out a large portion of his hive, which fled his body to protect him.
Seeing them burn to ash in seconds, dropping to the ground like a raining fire of his beetle corpses, has instilled in him a fear of fires and the way they can snuff out life in an instant when life is so precious to him and his family. Anything more than a controlled campfire causes him to feel his chest tighten and his breathing falter. He is good at hiding it. Only those who know him well can tell he is affected.
Hobbies and Favourites:
Chess:
When Shikamaru gave him a wrapped box for his birthday, most assumed it would be a shogi board, but when it turned out to be a chess set, most of the party was confused. Shikamaru only stated that he felt he would like it better.
He was right. Shinja adores it and will play for hours with Shino, Shibi, or anyone who wants a game.
Tenten can play but doesn’t have the patience; she is more than happy to sit with them and draw up a new scroll as they take turns playing with each other, and with the Aburame patience and logical mindedness of the three of them possesses, they will be there a while!
Stargazing:
His mother's influence. She couldn’t intrigue him into the mystical arts that entertain her, such as fortune telling, but sitting outside after the sun had gone down to look up at the sky and plot consternations was interesting to him.
Entomology:
The Aburame influence. As naturally as breathing, he absorbed his clan's love for all living things, and if he wants to lead the clan with as much knowledge and respect as Shibi and Shino have, he needs to know everything he can about all forms of insects.
Reading:
Shinja enjoyed the occasional fantasy book as a child, but he grew into reading only nonfiction as he grew older, as that’s what Shibi and Shino only read. He only reads nonfiction when Shibi offers to read to him when his parents are out of the village and he is staying at his grandfather's home.
Favourite Possession:
His most prized possession is his beaded sunglasses, which he inherited from Shibi as an official welcome to the clan and simply a gift to his grandson.
In the Golden Silk Caterpillar AU, a small bead of gold will also be added.
Favourite Drinks:
Green tea or plain water are his beverages of choice, and he dislikes fizzy soda.
He doesn’t enjoy sweets, not on the same scale as his mother, but will have a bite or two if an opportunity arises.
Favourite Colour:
His favourite colour is a deep forest green—the colour of nature and life itself.
Favourite Music:
He could never get into the swing music Shibi would have the records of, certainly not the pop dance music Tenten likes, and at times, not even the instrumental music Shino would occasionally have in the background.
He simply enjoys the quiet sounds of nature. Sitting on his home porch in the Aburame clan, he listens to the insect sounds and breezes through the trees around him.
