About Scorpios
What is it that I love about you guys? It could be because my father’s a Scorpio, maybe that I dated a Scorpio, or because my generation is the Scorpio Pluto generation. It could be that Scorpio reigns in my third house telling me to write the dark romances and immediate character deaths. The truth: you’re like me, you’re like a Pisces in which you know you are everything and if I weren’t my sign I’d want to be a Scorpio.
First let’s get rid of your misconceptions for those who don’t understand. Scorpios aren’t evil sex-a-holics, if any sign is sex addict prone it would be a fire sign. You guys know what sex can do, and know the difference between fucking and making love. You know this because the sex fiend isn’t you, it’s the house you live in. Eighth house is sex and death, it is resurrection and bouncing back from losses. Eighth house isn’t the Shadow, it’s accepting one’s dark side.
During your past reincarnation you had everything handed to you, or what you worked for had a low chance of disintegrating. The problem here is that since you know that dark exists along with light, you have a problem of accepting the good in life. In this life you need to learn that change is inevitable and you need to create your own security. Having the truth out there helps create that solid ground for you. Even in childhood an omission is the equivalent of a lie and you do not tolerate that from anyone. This cynicism is a good mask, a good “lie” for someone who craves the brutal truth. It’s why it’s difficult for an outsider to gain your trust because Jiminy Cricket echoes in your mind that “Tom shouldn’t be trusted” or “I don’t like how Jill is walking toward you.” But if anyone gains that trust, you’ll become the sweetest, kindest, most loyal friend they’ll ever have. (So lovers, best friends, whoever don’t assume Scorpions are cold-hearted, they’ll become so only if you give them a reason to be. If you do Scorpios are PATIENT, they won’t actively seek revenge like a James Bond villain but will slowly and subtlety undo you.) I love you so much Scorpios and I’m glad you’re a fellow water sign.
Two of our favorite dames – Dame Maggie Smith and Dame Emma Thompson – are in the spotlight this week with the release of the new “Downton Abbey” trailer and updates on all things Thompson. Plus, another “Fantastic Beasts” star has tied the knot and two more wizarding world alumni have signed on to Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic. That and more await you in Casting News!
We’ve got bad news this week about one of our favorite Netflix series, but Casting News rebounds from there with premiere dates for “Peaky Blinders” and “The Crown”, a birthday song from General Hux, and Nat Tena hating on the “Game of Thrones” finale!
