i carried rudy softly through the broken street... with him i tried a little harder at comforting. i watched the contents of his soul for a moment and saw a black-painted boy calling the name jesse owens as he ran through an imaginary tape. i saw him hip-deep in some icy water, chasing a book, and i saw a boy lying in bed, imagining how a kiss would taste from his glorious next-door neighbor. he does something to me, that boy. every time. it's his only detriment. he steps on my heart. he makes me cry.

An even funnier thing is knowing that Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham lived in an apartment with Warren Zevon in the early 70s as well, because if there's one single thing that could have made that living situation more toxic, it's adding Warren Fucking Zevon into the mix. I really don't know who I feel the most sorry for.

color: rainbow | theme: pride | challenge: let your flag fly bright & colorful this month

with the arrival of june comes pride month!! as a proud member of the lgbtqia+, i had to do this color scheme, theme and challenge. it's only right. i want to make this month bright and happy, full of enjoying the moment. everyone is allowed to join this month as well!! the point of it is celebration. there is a lot of media out there that proudly displays (and sometimes, not so proudly) lgbtqia+ individuals, pairings, etc. if you love it, show it. have any headcanons for your favorite characters? gif something bright and beautiful for them. gif the film or tv show that opened your eyes to the community. i'm always looking for film and tv recommendations so open my eyes too. this goes for music artists as well, show off the excellent music taste that belongs to lgbtqia+ artists. this is all for fun so please, enjoy what you make!! i can't wait to see what y'all do.
