*Bobbi and Kate are at SHIELD headquarters, heading towards the weapons vault* *so far Bobbi's clearance has gotten them past the most awkward questions, and luckily Kate's gift for a belligerent stance and a confident stare down is her primary superpower* *they're nearly there, only two more doors to go*

*unfortunately they're two doors that Bobbi isn't authorized to open*

Well, Hawkeye, *grins at Kate* this is where it gets tricky. *pulls out a few electronic devices and kneels down next to the first of the doors to the vault*

*Bucky sits opposite Sitwell and Natasha in a SHIELD van, checking his gun*

*Sitwell sighs and opens the SHIELD file again, laying out the photographs and printouts as he speaks*

We always suspected there were more sleeper agents like the one you faced earlier this year, and like Novokov. Of course, Novokov himself has been less than forthcoming about his brothers in arms, but- *Sitwell gives a thin smile*- SHIELD has eyes and ears everywhere. We don't just have to wait for an elderly Russian prisoner to feel like talking.

Which brings us to 0600 hours this morning, when one of our agents identified this man. *Sitwell holds up a photo, a large blond man* Dmitri Kopyev, one of the sleepers whose names you gave us following the Novokov arrest. Our man moved to intercept, but there were civilians present and something went wrong.

*Sitwell indicates screen captures taken from security cameras* We now have a hostage situation. Four civilians, one SHIELD agent and a local grocery store in lockdown. No demands issued, no sign of life except violent resistance when we sent in a team. We need someone to extract the hostages and talk Kopyev down. Nobody's better placed to do this than you two.

*he looks from Natasha to Bucky, eyes large and tired behind his glasses*

This isn't a debt, or a favour. We're just asking you- please. Bring our man back alive.

Welcome Home, Annie

*After being released from the hospital in the morning, Betty, Bruce and Annie arrive back at the tower.*

*Exhausted, Betty is spending most of the day sleeping, and Bruce is doing his best to watch Annie and not get anything wrong. So far, so good, and she's napping in her bassinet.*
