Back when this story first came out, I actually only started reading it because the summary was a Lemony Snicket quote, which I took as a very good sign and I wasn't disappointed, but also, the tags summed it up well: Wangxian get together sooner (before Wei Wuxian's death), but it fixes nothing. I really love that, because I think Wangxian getting together earlier would solve absolutely nothing and I loved the explorations of it and also, autistic Lan Wangji, my beloved, and also, Lan Wangji suffering chronic pain after the whipping and Mo Xuanyu's body being different to Wei Wuxian's original body and that being something he has to adjust too and I just love that. Part one is the main story, part two is a supplementary story from Wei Wuxian's POV. Excerpt: “Any fight you do now is to survive,” Wangji snarls. “To live to protect those you swore to! The boy you claimed as your own! The home you made!” “They’ll never let us! Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan,” Wei Ying babbles, sobs. “We must think of a way,” Wangji insists. “For everyone to leave. For everyone to live. Wei Ying, please.” “Lan Zhan!” There is snot smeared across Wei Ying’s face and his eyes are manic, red-rimmed and blurred with tears. “You, poor you, you peerless, you beautiful– you must regret, regret me, regret meeting me, every single day, every–,” “Never.” Tears drip down Wangji’s nose, off his chin. “Knowing Wei Ying, loving Wei Ying, was the best part of this life.” Wei Ying stares. He rips himself away from Wangji’s hands. “You can’t be here!” he wails. “Leave! Get lost!”

hey, no spoilers please, but since you've beaten it, do you get railroaded towards the end of the game after beating the last disney world? Or do you have time to revisit old worlds, look for lucky emblems, etc, before heading to wherever the end game starts?

You can revisit them before you do endgame things! Anytime there’s a savepoint, you can leave. A non-spoiler recommendation that the game does not explicitly tell you what or where the end of the game is, unlike KH1 and KH2′s doors that clearly prompt the player--so save any time you can or whenever you feel like you’re close.

yes i remember that post too! i personally like to think the dirt children can interact with people pretty normally without weird hijinks ensuing, but i definitely love this idea of the Uncanny inevitably coming out too. they’re talking to beings who count their lives in centuries and millennia, and...it can show. (also i love how your phrasing makes them sound like black holes. causing time dilation and all through the sheer force of their gravitational fields. not quite unlike my headcanon that they can also make people feel drawn to them.)

I am considering this S O  H A R D

it would be the most entertaining slash frustrating state visit EVER and it would end with irene and laurent being impeccably polite and cutting and beautiful at one another (enjoying themselves hugely) while damen and eugenides get slightly drunk and stare at them with expressions of besotted pride.

two weeks later damen finds laurent trying to scale the outside of their palace at midnight, one of his hands bundled up in cloth. he does not appear to be succeeding.

“what,” damen says, with care, “are you doing.”

“this is a lot harder than attolis made it look,” laurent says thoughtfully.

damen goes back to bed.

Summary

Batman (Comics) / Red Robin (Comics) Tim doesn't really want to have a therapy session with his own subconscious. Especially since his subconscious seems a little...off. Still, he doesn't regret the choices that led him here. He doesn't regret the role he had to play. But Tim doesn't know that there's a timer ticking down over his head. A timer that Bruce and his brothers are trying desperately to beat. #Hurt/Comfort #Character Study #Tim gets free therapy and some hugs #meanwhile the rest of the bats are having the worst night of their lives
